I was at a Catholic Church (im not catholic, it was for a funeral) and I took communion because i didn't eat any breakfast and was hungry. whats gonna happen to me?

your just not supposed to do that if you dont know anything about communion..what it is, why we have it, etc. its different at a catholic church than it is in a protestant church. it means much more to catholics and is very important. the eucharist is why catholic churches are not the same as protestant and their services are not interchangable. not that your going to hell, lol. just something your not supposed to do.

In the Catholic church you are suppose to be baptized and had your conformation before you can take communion. I don't know why they would give communion at a funeral. Never seen that before. You certainly won't go to hell for that reason. I don't know enough to comment on the rest of your life.

Well, you shouldn't take communion because you're hungry. First of all, I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but you are to only take communion if you're saved and right with God. If you are sincerely saved, then nothing. If not, then you need to get saved. I wasn't aware they had communion at Catholic funerals.

I know you are not serious.....that did not fill your hunger. If indeed you did do this ask for forgiveness and be sincere. You have other issues though and probably do need to do some serious soul seaching, perhaps pick up a Bible and read.

It is a mortal sin.
it is incredibly rude.
why would you receive if you do not believe?
Saying that you were hungry is a pretty stupid reason if you have ever seen the size of the wafer used as the host.

I am a catholic and I just can't believe how many people in this world today still think and believe in hell, really people get a hold of yourself hell is a man made fear tactic created literally thousands of years ago to control the flock even before Jesus was ever thought of, God is no respecter of man but he is a loving and compassionate God, and he created all of us in order to experience life on this absolutely beautiful incredible planet for all of us to enjoy, man and his religion really are the villains here because they are the creators of fear, and not the loving and caring God I know, and may our father in heaven creator of all things bless all who Cherish his creation.

Nothing, because you took it and it didn't mean anything to you it was just bread. That alone wont make you go to hell. However you should have some respect for Catholics, that is rude, that means alot to their faith.
