My father is constantly emotionally abusive to me, my sister and even to my mother. This abuse has being going on for year's but recently it has been getting worse in line with my father's increasing consumption of alcohol, my mother seems to pretend its not happening. He is verbally abusive and it is impossible to talk to him without him either ignoring me or raising his voice screaming at me and trying to intimidate me.
I have just left home because of this, although this has made life difficult as I am staying with friends at the moment and I have no permanent residency until I can move into university accomodation. I was wondering what legal action I could take against my father if any considering I live in the UK?

I'm 31 and play competitive soccer Monday, and Tuesday nights( 1 night indoor and 1 night outdoor) twice a week. I play Goal Keeper. The day after each game I'm sore, and tired. This carries over to Thursday.
When do you decided to call it quits and just move on to some more social type leagues just for fun?
Has anyone had to contemplate this? I would imagine I'm still going to be sore after a social volleyball game though too.

So me and the doc are a bit confused (confused not worried) and Im thinking maybe you guys can help. The first date of my last period was on April 27 of this year... which would put my baby now at 16 weeks and 5 days. 2 months ago the doc did some measurements and the baby would now be measuring at 16 weeks and 2 days. Well, yesterday doc did a measurement of the babies head and its now meauring at 17 weeks... how in the world is that possible when the first day of my last period was April 27th (there is NO questions that was the day)... doc said he isnt going to worry because in 2 weeks I go back for full ultrasound and he is going to measure every inch of my baby. Any ideas?

I think most people have a disability. The inability to see their own failings. If they weren’t so short sighted they would stop using the word disabled or even worse the word normal. Compared to Stephen Hawkins you all have a learning disability, compared to Nurayev you all have moving disability. Instead of normal, substitute average then see if you still class yourself with that title. Get rid of the category disabled its an insult.

Once a boy woke up and got out from his bed.
He prepared to go to school.
When he spoke"**",the teacher got disappointed and asked him to get out of class.
Suddenly Head of the school saw him.
"He asked what did the boy do?"
Teacher told ,"He said "**" ".
On hearing this principal got disappointed and suspended the boy for a week.
When he reached home, his mother asked how was the day in the school.
He said i just spoke"**"........
Hearing this ,mother asked her son to leave the home.
It went on and on and on till he reached the president.
When president asked about the problem and heard the same word from the boy("**"),he got annoyed so much and asked the boy to leave the country.
Now boy decided to know the meaning of "**".
So he decided to ask god about it.
The temple was on the opposite side of the cross- road and when he tried to cross the road suddenly a car striked him and he was dead on the spot.
What moral did you get from the story?

I've been seeing Raffaela for six months now. I met her in Marseille on a missions trip in February. After talking her into leaving her husband, she has been working at my company for the last 3 months on a work visa.

The only real concern I have is that she doesn't seem too interested in her bible study. I have tried many different things, but they haven't seem to have taken yet. I even tried to have her use a coloring book. She did a fairly decent job with that (didn't always stay in the lines though. ha ha ha)

Well, now I have to introduce her to my parents this weekend, and I'm freaked out. My Mom hates the French anyway, and if my girlfriend isn't a Christian by then I don't know what she is going to do.

Honestly, I can't ask her to marry me unless she shares the same faith I do. How would we have any peace in bringing up our children if we can't walk them along the same path?

A few weeks back I was watching the news when a story came on about a girl that was shown being kicked, stamped and stoned by a huge group of men because she had fallen in love with a boy. It showed the whole thing and the part when they eventually killed her by dropping a concrete slab on her head and then they all carried her body off, this was in iraqi or somewhere not sure, but its really stuck in my mind could not believe what I was seeing it disgusted me.

An internet hate campaign in Yahoo Answers has poured hate after hate for months now, usually using "questions" almost exactly the same.

They have posted my estimated 2200 questions followed by
10 pathetic support answers each, 2200 times 10 = 22,000 .It is ironic justice that their mental illness may someday be analysed so students of psychology to learn about the nasty side of the human psyche.

Remember what they are doing, they are gloating with satisfaction at the hurt of a family who may have lost a child to a paedophile killer, interesting stuff for a psychologist

Perhaps it will have some future use in medical research
