The Papal Encyclical Humanae Vitae of Pope Paul VI [1968] brought the position of the Catholic Church concerning contraceptives, sex and abortions. It maintained that sex outside of marriage is sin and that every sexual act must be open to conception. Hence no abortion or morning after pills. Do you think that this position is too rigid for the modern world where people question everything from agronomy to zoology? Do you think that people have a right to do whatever they want with their bodies without looking at the objective consequences for the human race? I have an 11 month old Maltese. I've noticed lately that for no apparent reason, she starts to shake like she's very cold or very scared. This usually happens after she uses the bathroom. I've had her since she was 3 months old, and I know her previous owners, so I know she wasn't abused. I never get on her about her accidents, because I know it's not her fault, it's mine for not training her right. Anyone else ever see this in a dog?
Also, she is 11 months old, and hasn't had her first heat. Is this normal? My other female dog is fixed, so I don't know when to expect it.
I am taking her to the vet, but her appointment isn't for 2 weeks. So please, no comments just saying "take her to the vet"

My son is big for his age, and he can already stand up and jump in his crib... he is also strong enough to pull him self almost up and out of the crib... he is only 10 months old.
When did you move your little one to a bed? Maybe just a mattress on the floor?
