i will usually just keep my current speed. if they want to pass me that badly, then they will need to go faster than me, b/c if i slow down, then i will most likely want to pass them eventually. NOW, if they are passing me on the other side of the yellow line, then i will slow up a bit b/c some people are morons and would rather get somewhere 5 minutes faster than worry about crashing and dying..or killing someone else.

ALSO, i read something somewhere that said passing people only gets you an extra 5 minutes, on average...i thought that was interesting.

NOW, if the person is being a complete tool, and we're on multi lane road or highway and they try to pass me, then sometimes i will speed up just to tick them off, but that's only if they are being idiots.

In my younger days I would speed up, I was an awful driver and had such road rage. Now I would slow down and let them pass. I'm the kinda driver that pull over onto the side of the road so people wanting to go faster can pass me. I also will stop when in traffic and let other drivers in. Aren't I so nice! I do it because my thought are always "do on to others.....", you know the saying.

I slow down and let the driver go around. I have no need to prevent somebody from getting ahead of me. My goal, when driving, is to get everybody away from me and have a space of my own.

There's an interesting story about a woman who wouldn't let somebody pass. It's under "Anatomy of an Epic Road Rage Tragedy" at the website below.

Usually I would do nothing. If they didn't pass and I wasn't obstructing traffic, I would slow down and let them pass. I would rather keep a crazy person in front of me so I can keep an eye on them and the road.

I do nothing of the sort. I just keep my speed and let it go through. Yes I hate when other people just speed up when I try to go through them, and I also hate when they force me to hit the break just because they are doing it in a very dangerous way and almost push me off the road.

I always slow down, because I hate when people speed up. If you're driving 45 in a 50... then why start to speed up so i can't pass you? You obviously WANT to drive slow so why piss me off for wanting to drive faster than you? It's such a pet peeve.

I usually let them pass. Other than this one time a guy was pissing me off. I was on the free way and he never would let me change to the left lane. Then I noticed he started speeding up ahead of me and had his turn signal on to get on the exit, when he got halfway past me I sped up so he couldn't get by! HA! Right when we passed it he turned his signal off and looked really pissed off.

Sometimes I do. It depends on my mood. If the person is driving crazy then I let the go. I they have a bad attitude and just expect you to yield to them the no. I have had people give a friendly gesture and it was all good.

I hold the same speed and let them pass. I hate when people speed up.

Always best to let the fools get by you.
Yes, I hate it when someone won't let me by too, but I can live with it - some can't though, so it might turn into road rage.
