I'm going to a wedding of some new neighbours. We didn't know eachother when they were doing the planning of the wedding, but are close now. It's too late to add us to the dinner, but they want us to join them after the dinner for the dance part of the reception. We want to give them cash as a gift. What is the appropriate amount of money to give per person? They are having an open bar if that makes a difference. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

can someone tell me what judge would award custody to people that accused my son of sexual abuse to my exs gfs daughter...someone told me today that my ex is still gonna fight me for custody even though they accused him of this ,,,they are tellin people all the want my son to do is confess to it get him help and make it thru all this....


first off my son didnt do it.
second my sons will never step foot back into that womens house.
third i would rather be in jail then to allow my sons to go over again ever.
july 20th he told the boys he didnt want to see them anymore and he picked his gf over his own sons..

a change in my body from working out. I'm talking push-ups, sit-up,squats,free weights the whole deal plus jogging,cyceling and rock climbing. I made chocolate chip cookies with the same recipe I have used for about 3 years. (The Butter Flavor Crisco Stick recipe). They usually turn out great, but for some reason they came out thin and flat this time. It was like the dough melted and spread out instead of keeping its shape. What can I do next time if the first batch comes out like this? Can I add more flour or something to thicken it up?

We have about $30k in equity on our home, and currently have a 30 yr fixed at 6.9%. I'm not sure if refinancing will help or hurt us. My student loans are at 7.22, but I only owe another $3500, and my auto is 1.9% and I owe about $6500. I thought about paying those off with the cash from the refi - is that a bad idea since the auto loan is at a lower rate? I thought since the mortgage interest is a tax right off and the auto loan isnt...?

If we aren't sure how long we'll be in this house, is refi a bad idea?

I'm pretty confused about this - any help would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter is 12mo. and she recently started changing her sleeping habits, she gets up frequently through the night. She use to sleep through the night, I give her a bath, feed her cereal and then put her to bed with a bottle. I though last week was because 2 more teeth broke through, but for instance, I was up last night from 10:45-11:20 and then sometime around 12am and we fell asleep on the couch, I woke up at 2 and tried to put her back down and she woke up by the time I got back in my bed, then from then from 2-3:30am we laid on the couch and then I rocked her back to sleep and got her to stay asleep in her bed. Her dad leaves for work a little after 5 and I pray every day he doesn't wake her. I didn't know if perhaps she got use to me laying with her on the couch last week to sooth her since she was teething last week, plus I didn't mind last week, cause we were on vacation.

I am trying to learn how to can and I notice that a canning rack plays a role in the canning process. I do not have a canning rack and I want to know how essential or important it is and what purpose it serves. Does it merely keep the jars from chattering as pockets of steam build up underneath them? Hi.. The time has come for my wife and I to move in with my mother. My father is in a nursing home and my mother is not coping well. She's still moderately capable, but tired, sick and confused. They want us to give the home to us and count on us to take care of my mother. I've heard of a "co-habitant with survivorship" document and living trusts, but really know little about them.
