They didn't mention them by name since they didn't have those names yet. Nations from beyond the horizon was mentioned indicating a knowledge that there were continents yet undiscovered by man.

Your point? It doesn't mention Japan, South Africa, or Britain either. That still does not take away from the lessons that are taught in it.
