Its totally taking away from the soon to be football season and i wanna hear whats going on with the teams.....not Vick all day everyday.....get over it and lets play some football.

Totally agree! Last nights pre-season with the Bears v Colts should have been re-named ESPN Talks About Vick. The ESPN announcers got so involved with the blah-blah about Vick they forgot about the game going on. There were long segments with the camera only on the announcers talking, while the game was going on. That was the sorriest attempt at play by play for a football game that I ever saw.

The whole thing is sick, but the story isn't done yet.
The sentence still has to be handed down, and even then it isn't done.
Once he has served his time the whole thing will come up again when he wants to rejoin the league. At that time, he will have served his debt to society, and should be considered a man in good standing with the law. That is when it will be really interesting to see what the NFL, the pundits, and the hate filled posters will do.
That all having been said, once the sentence is handed down and the kickoff of the regular season arrives, Michael Vick will be a minor story in the sports pages until your team plays Atlanta. If your team is Atlanta, this is the story of your year for this year and beyond.

I totally agree. There are tons of other oplayers. It is not like Vick is the only NFL superstar, there is Jackson, Thomlison, Brady, etc. And what we want is the season to start. I'd like to hear more news about how teams are approaching the season, who is hot and who is not.
If Vick made a mistake, well, he has to pay the consequences, life goes on.

YEAH, the ESPN coverage was crazy yesterday...1 minute of news, 3 hours of yadda yadda...although I loved the clip where the reporter asked Vick, "Name three things we don't know about Michael Vick, and Vick says, "I love animals!"

I agree! It's a horrible fall from grace, but it's getting old already! After Monday's sentencing hearing, it should all stop!

i agree - i totally think should not play any more.
but i think they should just hury up with the trial to get it over with. people want to keep talking about if he is still going to play this year, which sucks because hes been out too long to know any of the plays.
they just need to end it, send him to jail or don't let him play. its that easy. the nfl is being stupid too because of their stupid investigation. they just need to send him to jail for 5 years and get done with it.
