I began dating a 22 yr old guy when I was 39. He was very very cute, didn't look 22 (he looked more like he was 27), and he was very mature for his age. I didn't look 39. People guessed my age to be 30.
We dated for 6 months, then we got married. We have been happily married for 21 years. He is still cute, and very very good to me.

Younger guys are hot ...and energetic. If you're looking for fun times without the drama, then go for it. If you're looking for a man to be at your level of maturity, I wouldn't do it. It's only a 6 year age difference, but you're still from 2 different generations.

24 year old guys approach me all the time and I'm 51. I think they think I'm desperate or something. NOT. The only concern I would have in your situation is maturity. If you are sure he is mature, then go for it.

go out with him a few times.. see how it goes. After a few dates tell him exactly what you are looking for. If he's not about that then move on if he is.. then enjoy the ride.

It's not that huge an age difference. Go for it but just be clear about what you expect and what he can expect.
