Charity G: In California, Muslims requested and got periods of silence during the school day for their prayers, but if any Jew or Christian asked to say a prayer at a student organization, they are strictly forbidden.

Brian A: My question is posed in exactly the same way that most liberals pose questions about conservatives or republicans. Mine however is based in facts rather than emotions and media hype. I would like to see a liberal specifically answer this question, and by the examples of liberal answers given, they won't and can't.

Hey Mr.Pennies, the only swine here is you. How about that woman that is unborn in her mother's stomach? Doesn't that woman deserve rights and the freedom to make a choice? People like you disgust me.

Source, source, link, link these friggin leftists, that is the only answer they have. Let me explain something to you morons. HE DOESN'T HAVE TO PROVIDE LINKS OR SOURCES WHEN HE IS ASKING A FRIGGIN QUESTION YOU IDIOTS!!
It is a legitimate question and everybody knows that the left has been trying to remove Christian symbols from government institutions, they have been doing it for decades. Now Muslims in certain schools mostly in Kalifornia are having organized prayer hours and have rooms designated for it. IF YOU NEED A LINK GO LOOK IT UP, TOOLS!
Brian his question doesn't assume anything, its simply a question. Somewhat of a straw man argument I'll give you that but it does not require supporting evidence when it is a question.

I think you just have a problem understanding some things.
Every one should have the freedom of choice. I am not saying that every one makes the right choices but we should have the right to make our own decisions. If you are a christian then you should well know that the decisions we all make we have to pay for. Not you or anyone else. As for religion in schools...This would not be a good idea since there are so many different religions in the USA. No matter what the religion it causes conflict. It always has and always will. If you think about it Bush said God told him to attach Iraq. The Muslims say There god told them to attack us. What a wonderful world this would be if we were all just spiritual and there was no different religions. Religion has always let to hate. I pity us all

Steelgrave, his question assumes something which is not evident, hence the need for some proof. If he has something specific in mind he should make it clear, as he now has.
I don't really agree with what is going on there and don't see how what is going on in one school in California is representative of how all liberals feel. How about asking how they feel about it rather than asking them to defend something they might not even believe in? It might make people less defensive and a little more rational.

Not all liberals are "prochoice" any more than all conservatives are prolife. The following are prolife groups that don't fit the conservative or fundamentalist religious pigeonhole that much of the media tries to stuff the prolife movement into:
http://www.consistent-life.org
http://www.democratsforlife.org
http://www.plagal.org
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AlternativeLifers
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nonlethalalternatives
http://www.godlessprolifers.org
They add up to a lot of folks who don't fit the illusion that media on both the right and left present.

Removing the enforced practice of religion from schools IS exercising freedom of choice. No one is forcing women to abort or give birth, and no one is forcing a child to practice Christianity. I don't see any hypocricy there....

Hypocritical, isn't it?
People send me Y!A messages all the time ridiculing me for being a black Conservative. But the hypocrisy of some liberals, I just can't deal with.
Let a Christian school open up on public funds and the ACLU will be all over it. But since it is a Muslim school, I guess it is OK.
As long as the name Jesus isn't mentioned, religion is alright for the libs, I suppose.

I though we hated religion...my mistake. I don't support any religion in schools. Schools should be places of learning not places to spread superstitious silliness.

First of all, the Pro-choice slogan is that of ignorance. Yes abortion is a choice, but so is robbery, rape and assualt, so that doesnt say too much. As far as the religion goes, I dont know. I grew up in public schools and they didnt bash Christianity. However, I live in NC and I think that problem is usually up north.
