I got my girlfriend a PC recently, used. It was totally wiped, had to install an OS. Went with Windows XP. Anyways, I get the impression that it's a custom job as I can't find a model number for it anywhere. It has an integrated sound card but I can't seem to find any drivers. It has an AMD Athalon (XP) 1800+ 1.5ghz processor...and I don't know alot about AMD computers. The case says it's a "Tangent" but that's about all I can figure out. Can anyone tell me how to find out what sound drivers I need or anything else?

If they really do get rid of House's team, do you think it will be good or bad for the show?

Also, what do you guys think will actually happen? Really get a whole new team for him or some of the originals will come back.

I love Foreman, Chase, and Cameron but is it time for some new blood. Because in all honesty it doesn't matter who is there for him to make fun of, I tune in every tuesday for House and House alone.

Atheists say that they are smarter than Christian? Is that true at all?

Poor countries are more propense to believe in Jesus. Rich country are less likely to believe in God. Where there are more rich people, there is better education. However, education does not mean you are smarter. For example, here in USA we have tons of college, maybe more than in China and Japan, economy is also better, however, education in Japan and China is years ahead of the US.

Christian are not less smart, it is just that countries where economy is not that good, tend more to be Christian or of any other religious.

Behavior show how smart people are, smart people discuss and talk about what they believe, not about what they dont believe.

Most atheists bahavior is to make fun of Christian. Smart atheists do not make fun of religious. For example, Bill Gate. He says "religion is interesting" but he preffer explore something else. He has not said he is smarter than Christian.

If I lost a fish in the filter, would I know it? A little background... I bought four platys yesterday. I got one that was soo cool looking. Spotted body, red top fin and yellow tail fin. He was very active. When I brought them home he was still very active. Seemed to have quite a personality. Didn't display any signs of being ill at all. This morning, he's gone. I can't find him anywhere. I have three other platys still in the tank and only a couple of plants so no real place for him to hide. I don't see how he could have gotten in the filter. He was too big and the bottom part of the filter tube in the tank has a sort of grate over it. But, this fish is gone. Completely. Any suggestions at all? If he somehow got in the filter, would I know it? Wouldn't it block up the impeller or something. He was over an inch in length. I'm at a loss here. I should add - the other fish in the tank are some guppies and neon tetras.

Today technology is every where, fruit of the genius mind of the past who help asemble it.But why we don't seam to produce more man like Einstein,Newton, Copernicus,Pascal,Galileo.

We will take the example of European kids, since the genius noted above, mostly come from Europe. European kids of today are taller, eat better than kids of the time of Newton, so why can't we have more people of the stature of Einstein.

In fact Newton was a premature baby who weight very little at birth.Einsteins family suffer from a form of autism and one of his son didn;t survive to adult age.

the college or university should be a public school.
don't name school's such as Harvard, Princeton, or Yale because im not that smart.
the school could be anywhere in america EXCEPT: Alabama
the college/university should be a school that doesn't have a problem with a person with a different race.
my goal is to become a CRNA, thats why i want a good school with a good nursing program.

So everyone knows the beat effect, right? When two hypersonic sound waves interfere a beat is produced whose frequency is equal to the difference between the two waves. If the difference is a frequency in the human hearing range, then we hear a sound from the interference.

My question, which I asked before but did not receive the answer I was looking for, is "does this happen with electromagnetic waves?" If two waves, be it UV, X-ray, or gamma, interfere and have a difference that correlates to a frequency in the visible light spectrum, then would you see a light? I know that being exposed to gamma waves would kill you before you had a chance to appreciate the interference or UV waves would burn your retinas. I don't care. Would there be a visible light emission in any case?
