hp costumes?

i want to dress as either tonks or trelawney, i need ideas other thatn a pink wig or poofy hair pleas! what are some other characters that people would not dress up as much? skeeter maybe?

Myrtle is a fun one - get a (clean) toilet seat, put it round your head, and dress up like a Hogwarts student, but have makeup like a ghost!

For Trelawney, get some beer glasses, the kind that make your eyes look giant, and get a lot of glittery jewelry - both can be found at cheap dollar stores or garage sales.

For Tonks, it's hard because the pink hair is definitely going to be popular, and she doesn't have much else to her.

Rita would be great! A giant quill and a handbag would be all you needed for her :) (along with wizardy-clothes of course)

Rosmerta would be fun - get a busty shirt and some robes, and bring some plastic beer cups as props (probably not good for under 21s)

Umbridge is a fun evil one! A giant bow, some awful pink fabric for robes.... hahaha.

i've seen Hedwig - a white outfit and a fake beak, and a lot of oversized, rolled-up "letters"

My friends and I are dressing up like the Black sisters when they were younger, going to Hogwarts. We did the same for the last party, I go as Bellatrix, my best friend is Narcissa and our other friend is Andromeda. We just wear Hogwarts robes and carry wands and cauldrons, but also wear name tags. It's fun and original. I think it's good to tress up like people who aren't necessarily featured in the book, like the past generations.

I think for Tonks you could just wear robes or a cape and a pink wig, that would be good. Trelawney you could be really creative with, wear out-there flowy ethereal stuff, maybe carry a fake crystal ball.

for Tonks, just wear a robe and a pink wig...for Trelawney, wear shawls and big glasses and bracelets...how about Professor McGonagall? she's really easy to dress up as...just wear a black witch's hat && the gown...wear a gray wig && try to tie it in a bun OR Luna Lovegood...just put on a white-blonde wig (unless that's your natural hair color!) && wear glasses upside down...wear a Hogwarts robe && carry a magazine or something OR try Rita Skeeter (the newspaper editor) wear glasses && bright red lipstick...wear really fancy clothes and carry a quill && a note pad or something =]

I think skeeter would be a great idea! You coul have tiny, thin glasses. Deep red lipstick, and ringlets. She always has her quick-notes quill, and some parchment.
