Why can't people just agree to disagree, instead of insulting one another?

I think there is quite a fine line in expressing your curiosity in other religions with questions, and downright insulting them.

What I would like to see is some more philosophical questions, and less of "How can you atheists/Christians be so STUPID?"

older sister?

well my older sister will be a senior at a small highschool, where she has tons of friends and is great at sports. shes on 3 varisty teams, track, softball, and basketball. i had basketball camp, which she and her friends (on the basketball team) help run today. afterward, i knew that i had messed up a couple times but overall i thought i had done pretty good, and the other counslers (her teammates and friends) seemed to like me. when i got home and my mom asked me how camp was i said "pretty good" my sister was like "yeah why didnt you listen?" and i said "what?" she said "oh my gosh do you even know how many people came up to me and said "why doesnt your sister ever listen, or even act like shes listening?" i said "i dont know why theyd say that.." and she said "or do anything right for that matter." it hurt sooo bad when she said that..i wanted to cry. i was wondering if she said that because its true or just to get to me..

maltese, intelligent or just strong willed?

my little 8 mo. old male maltese shows signs of intelligence...he brings every toy he has into whatever room i'm working in and lays there a plays with his toys (i think that's pretty cute and smart). however, he seems extremely dense about aspects of training such as coming, "no," and other commands. i reward him with little treats consistently for all favorable behaviors, but have never had a dog so frustratingly difficult to train! i've owned a lot of other small and large dogs in my life. i know how to train, using reinforcement, etc. any feedback on the intelligence level of this breed? i've read the "trainability is the #1 test of intelligence." if that's the case, he's mentally challenged, but he has these other "smart" traits. what do you think (maltese breeders and trainers would be appreciated for comments).

Is 37" waist too big for a 15-year-old?

Hi I am 15 years old, male 5'6" 145 lb. with a 37" belly. I have a small frame. My body fat % is 33%. I used to be in great shape but now I've gained 9" and 30 lb out of laziness. I used to exercise a lot but got lazy. Thanks.

Sprained Ankle -- Not healing right?

Sprained my ankle 1 month ago. It was a bad sprain with bruising and a lot of swelling. The pain has subsided for the most part. However, the pain initially was on the outer side of my ankle and now the pain is radiating up the inner side of the ankle. I had an xray done by an orthopedist and it showed nothing. Should I ask for an MRI? There is still some light swelling. It is so frustrating waiting for this to heal and now I'm getting nervous something is wrong with it or it didn't heal properly.

Instead of looking around to do something bad when no one is looking, why not do something good when noone is?

Our culture seems to want to keep their darker side private and only want to do something kind or thoughtful when they'll get credit. Why can't we move forward and be satisfied with self affirmation by doing something useful?

Is this baby movement?

I am currently 6 months pregnant....w/ my first child so I really don't know what baby movement feels like. Recently I have been feeling flutters in my lower abdomen and right now I feel like little pushing feeling from the inside out....is this my unborn daughter??
