Some christians constantly belittle others or tell others how to live, christians don't like it when they get what they give out
I used to be on c4 forums where a christian used to call gay peados and use rape to score points, he was wrong and nasty.
Try looking up fred phelps, the pope's and peados or jerry falwell or even pat richardson

Any criticism of someone's beliefs even when it's constructive criticism is nearly always viewed as belittlement by those who espouse those beliefs. The question is what is to be gained by NOT speaking out against beliefs that are not based on reality when there is a great deal to be gained by speaking out. Humanity moves farther from the ancient dogma and superstitious nonsense that has been holding it back for millennia. Religious people see this as a personal attack. It's absolutely not. This is about collective humanity. It is pure selfishness on the part of religious people to insist on living their delusions and passing those same delusions onto others. It keeps humanity at each others throats fighting over them. Reality is founded upon verifiable and provable evidence, Not Faith, Not Religion, and Not Superstition. The more people accept that fact the better off humanity will be today and for the generations to come.

Then why ask the question? I admit is is silly and pointless to argue with any one asking a question but honestly some questions asked are a direct attack. Why ask a thinly veiled insulting question and expect not to be attacked by some one after all you fired first. Now, if you mean other question where a person is simply trying to gain knowledge concerning the question that was asked is there not other means to find answers if you only want to hear one type of opinion? What is there to gain in answering a question is not the gain to share your opinion? And aren't opinions just simple thoughts voicing an idea? Is not a test of education to learn what you can and in learning you process all information and then decide which information to keep and which information to toss?

Everyone from every belief or non-belief has at one time belittled another group. Religion and politics are the two biggest topics that get peoples backs against the wall and makes them feel defensive. Singling out one group as you have done does nothing to make you look tolerant either.

When someones argument is illogical and without researched backing it is every-ones duty to point it out.. Without correction there is no learning and advancement.. If correction threatens someone belief, that belief was far to fragile to begin with..
Learning the fragility of a belief quickly is in the best interest of the one being corrected because it gives them the opportunity to strengthen their belief or leave it behind in either case they are a stronger person for being corrected..

I have never belittled someone's beliefs... I respect others who respect me... and by the way I don't care about what you believe either.... Honestly... it is people like you that make the rift between Atheists and Other's so deep...
I know quite a few awesome and bad Christians as well as some horrible and great Atheists... so what... it's called sterotyping... you haven't met all the atheists in the world so do not act like you know me or anyone else...

I'm a Buddhist and it's a shame you don't care but I care about Jesus as my spiritual ancestor and would not belittle your beliefs. Nor would most atheists on here if you got the time to know them without attacking as you just did.

What do you hope to gain by asking this question? If you don't care about other people's beliefs then why are you even asking this? Christians are the absolute worst at judging others and belitting their beliefs or lack thereof. Open your eyes.

Yes, only atheist insult others beliefs here, right??
Do you pay attention? Perhaps you can ask this question to other Christians, who are here belittling the religions of Islam, judaism, paganism, JWs, Catholics and all others.
