I eat my pizza with my hands. I once went over to a friends house and they prepared pizza for dinner and set out some knives and forks. I was so confused so I just started eating the pizza with my hands but the whole family just stared at me like if I was an alien and someone said "don't you have a knife and fork?" Apparently to them it was rude to eat with my hands, so I tried to eat the rest of it with the knife and fork and it was so impossible for me that I just stopped eating all together and said I wasn't hungry anymore.

Hands! Usually. It kind of depends. Like a "Stuffed pizza", how the heck do you spell that, "Calzonne" I dunno how it's spelled I just eat it. They're a big hot ball of pizza lava waiting to ooze and give you burns. :-) So I'll usually try and hack away with a fork at least to start.
Sometimes the same thing with big crazy pizzas or if I'm working/developing and I can't stop to eat but I'm staring I'll hack away at it slowly as I work, without getting the keyboard all GREASY, ew!
Now, my Dad has a beard. Very polite for such a dirty hippy and he prefers a knife and for for even not so messy pizza so that he's less likely to spend an hour trying to get cooled mozzarella cheese out of his beard. :-)
That I can understand, otherwise it seems a little dorky... Usually pizza is enjoyed with a bunch of friends so who cares - but around here there are plenty of fancy restaurants I wouldn't want to look like a pig there, often in those cases I'll avoid the pizza though so I don't have to give it a second thought.

I use my hands. I am not that cultured yet as to figure out the etiquette of eating pizza with a knife and fork.

That all depends on the pizza. Some pizza is built for hands and some pizza is built for a knife & fork.

I eat mine with my hands of course. My little sister eats with a fork when its cut up. I know some people that eat there chicken nuggets with forks. Its weird. A knife would be just plain scary.
