Me and 3 other guys have been good mates since University (3 years ago now) but in the past year everything has changed. Two of us are from middle class backgrounds and have recently become very very arrogant and enjoy playing down the other two's lifestyle. The other two are from working class backgrounds but have made and making great efforts to improve life. The middle class two are very snobbish and make comments like; I bought a playstation for 500 pounds just because I can etc... Hilariously the poorer two although they lack the advantages one is a successful business man and the other is doing another degree at a better university and set to get a 1st class well over the other two's 3rd and 2/2. The last few months have been more and more intense competition and pay to look good but it doesn't wash since the poorer two are well overtaking them now in every way.

But I thought we we're supposed to be friends? What do you think happened for it to be this way?

My little girl is 2.5yrs old and very mild mannered.

She is polite and plesent with adults and other children and this seems to make her a target for bullies.

This weekend we went to a friends kids party and there was a older girl 4-5yrs bullying other kids (mainly the younger ones) most of them seemed to push her back but my daughter Lily wouldnt, she just let her hit her. I had to step in and shout at the older girI.

Ive always told her its naughty to hit, but now I think ive made a huge mistake and made her an easy target!

I spoke with my daughter on the way home, and told her if she was hurt or hit by someone then she was to hit back, and hit back hard.

She seems to understand me (she has very good communication skills) and when I told her dad she said she was gonna hit back if someone hit her.

My parents in law think this is wrong for me to say to her (by the way Im 28) but they think they know it all with raising kids.

I am 24 and she is 53. I know, big age gap. But we are in love and have fantastic sex together. I know I asked previous question about me worrying about our relationship and I have sorted that out. But she worries as well. She feels I am wasting my life away with her. What can I do to reassure her that it is her, and only her that I want to spend the rest of my life with? English is the language that we were speaking in 1607, when the first American permanent colony was established at Jamestown. It's been the language this country has done business in for 400 years.

Sadly, I'm seeing it change. We're being invaded by Spanish culture. Even our children are being brainwashed into thinking this is ok, with shows like Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go becoming mainstream entertainment. I pay money to a cable company every month who supports just as many channels in Spanish that I have in English. I can't watch half of what I pay for. Every number that I call now has a "dial 2 for Spanish" recording.

Why should we suddenly change and go bilingual Spanish now simply because our invaders refuse to learn and respect this country? Instead they have schools and the hiring of bilingual employees just to cater to their needs, when they shouldn't be here in the first place, let alone be allowed to disregard the language this country was founded on.

I love the Sopranos. I patiently waited for them to sort out what ever the problems were to film the next season and i did think well its been too long forget it i cant watch it now. I thought i wouldnt remember plots and who got whacked etc. Then i watch this seasons first episode and i was hooked again. The past episodes i was sitting on the edge of my chair and the finale episode last night. I thought my heart was going to pop out of my chest because i was into it. Then it just seems after the first half hour everything was ok??? The only great thing was that Latardeo was whacked. The whole resturant scene i was like Tonys going to die No the whole family was going to die excpet Meadow because she cant paralle park(i cant either HAHA) I truly was let down in the end. I am so disapointed. What did you think about the last episode?? The good side to it,it was left open for maybe one more show...

Yes, It is Monday, Yes, I am tired and really do not want to be here at work. I am going to be married 20 years soon... (second marriage for both of us) kids and step kids are gone, no more of that drama, husband is semi retired, but I work full time. I am just wondering if I am happy. I used to be. I am in a rut, (my husband is happy with this rut) I am not sure if I want to continue with this content life. I love him, like my life, but don't know if I am really "happy" or if I am really able to experience happiness. Sometimes I think if I was alone, I would be happy, but who knows. I have a few inches under shoulder length blonde hair. It's pretty straight no matter what, but I have some layers in and I'm thinking about getting a hair cut before school let's in on August 20th and I don't want to have layers again. My mom said no perms, bodywaves, anything with bad chemicals to possibly harm my hair. What kind of hair cut should I get? I don't want short hair maybe medium length hair but I would like to have curly/wavy hair but I would need chemicals put in!!!!!
And I can't just spary moose,gel and hairspary in my hair every morning!!!!!!!!!! HELP PLEASE!!!!! Well I'm 12 and going into 7th grade so and appropriate hairstyles you would know of?

I changed out my video card yesterday. A friend of mine wanted me to test out one that he had so I went to do so. His card is an NVidia Geforce FX5200 128MB AGP. When I put his card in the monitor would not wake up on boot. I decided to put my card back in, thinking his card was shot. I have an NVidia GeForce 3 64MB AGP. When I tried to boot my computer normally, with my card, the monitor would not wake up. I have an old Expert Color S3 Trio/Virge 4MB PCI card I tried using in case the CMOS changed back to PCI video instead of AGP. Same thing happens. Monitor doesn't wake up. That's three video card and I can't even get to a boot screen to go into setup. The motherboard is getting power, I know, cause the fan's come on. Could a video card have messed up the MoBo though? I'm stumped on the problem. Any ideas on how to fix the issue?
