Trent Green - he spent 5 or 6 years just holding a clipboard so lets call him a 32 year old QB. Also, he's one of the most underrated players in the league - he's put up great numbers year in and year out for the Chiefs and has done it without a go to wide reciever. He'll be a great QB for Beck to learn under and as long as he's not afraid to get hit again (you could tell he was scared of another big hit at the end of last season) he'll put up 3500 yards and 25 TDs for the 'fins.

Based on EVERYTHING, I'd rather have Green. Based on just your details I'd rather have the 30 y/o. You left plenty out. For starters that 30 y/o is more of a running QB and may have done MORE damage trying to come back to quick last year.
BTW this reminds me of WHY the Dolphins took Culpepper. Saban's team doctors said that Brees injury was worse. That his shoulder wasn't going to be the same. Had him thinking they were better with Culpepper and his knee was healed. Although when Culpeeper got to be in charge he also was able to make himself LOOK BETTER. I guess this explains why you NEVER take something "sight unseen" as well as why the Vikings wanted to unload him like that.

i would rather have Trent Green as my QB because Culpepper has not proven anything, nor has trent Green but he is a little better than DAUNTE. Culpepper got lucky because of randy moss... who was just freelancing and caught a lot of culpeppers passes and bailed him out. B4 he came to the Dolphins he had more ints(TD * 2) than TDs and then he got injured. I dont know y Dolphins are stupid enough to pick up that heafty contract.. they had a chance to get Drew Brees. Stupid move, but dont make it again by keeping DAUNTE. BEst place for "DAUNTE" would be the Falcons.... preety sure Vick will be suspended for a while and who else to take over some stupid thugs position than another stupid thug QB...

i dont really know you could make a case for both of em but i think it doesnt matter what you think Trent Green is the man in Miami and eventually Culpepper will be with another team. For all you fantasy guys look for Chris Chambers to have a bounce back year after a bad year last year with alot of expectations on him

The 37 year old Green. Green can still play and is a very accomplished passer. Culpepper is done. He lost the one attribute that was his best, his mobility. Culpepper never could read Ds very well or have much touch on his passes.

Trent Green because I have John Beck who will learn from Green and replace him in a year or two. Culpepper is too injury prone and wasn't that great even when he was healthy.

The Dolphins are a mess! Ha ha ha! I'm from Boston so they're in our division, so I've been following them. They should've drafted Brady Quinn, but that's irrelevant now. Culpepper will be gone and you're left with Green who basically ruined the Chiefs when he came back. Damon Huard led them to the playoffs, then came Green! What if Green gets hurt?

I would want them to shoot it out and see who takesthe team on. If both of them get hurt. Cleo Lemon is the backup currently. So I dont know. I am a true Dolphins fan. And the QB position has always been a hole since Dan the robot Marino retired. The Dolphins have always made mistakes on draft day. Anyone remember Yatil Green. LOL. Anyways. With Porter in trouble with the law and uncertainty at the QB position. It should be another year of focusing on my fantasy team. At least they will ahvemore wins. Oh and by the way Dolphins coaching staff. Thanks for trading Welker to the Pats. Dumasses

the real question is would you rather have a leader QB who can run things and still has a few good years left? or someone who was physically talented, but may never be the same... Trent Green is a better QB, and can be an asset to any team, especially a team that needs a leader like the dolphins... they have a great TE and WR, and a solid backfield...

Depends on which risk u want to take, age or injury? But both 100% you have to go with Daunte. Young, big arm, knows how to win, big, scrambles(? now). Trent is getting up there, has the numbers but can't put those up anymore. The Dolphins better make sure either way that they have a decent back up.
