A sailboat is traveling east at 6.0 m/s. A sudden gust of wind gives the boat an acceleration = (0.75 m/s2, 40° north of east). What are the boat's speed and direction 6.0 s later when the gust subsides?


I tried doing vf=vi + a delta t, but evidently that doesn't work. And I thought since the direction became 40 degrees, that's how it would stay, but that didn't work either. Any ideas?

ok..i installed VISTA PREMIUM.... however.....the aero interface does not work??...when i say it does not work i mean it acts like windows xp..regular graphics ...like when you minimize something it appears just like if you were minimizing in XP.....any advice???

I play goalie for my HS team well back up, and the starting keeper is the asst. coaches daughter, I feel as if I am being treated unfairly due to that. I think the head coach doesnt want to bench the other girl because she is afraid of the asst. coaches reaction...now I am playing club soccer except I have the same coaches it seems as if the asst. coach tries to make me look worse in front of the head coach...what should I do??

I am a firm believer that the player, not the equipment, makes the good golfer, but recently I've started to play Titleist NXT Tour and my game seems better. My ball striking is better and my slice is reduced. Is it because the ball itself is better than what I used to play, or is it because of the gain of confidence I get because of the Titleist name on the ball?

Obvouisly by making that statement Hillary admits to liberal extremists Bush was right.

1.) knowing we needed to defend ourselves, isnt it clear surrender has no justification.
2.) how can she expect any sober sane individual to elect her in this country when her party knowingly and willingly jeapordizes the safety of our troops for millions of dollars to spend on peanut storage and other pork barrel projects.
3.)now that the extremists have begun to understand their error to a point, wouldnt it be nice to just get the xxx out of the way and let the conservatives who understand the threat of al qaeda and jihad is real simply finish the job without threat, again in september of leaving our soldiers vulnerable for sake of political gain and tax dollars

if a baby passes a bowel movement inside you before you go in labor, i know it can be very dangerous but would you be able to tell? like would it make me sick or is there any way i can tell if the baby does that before i go into labor? will there be any side effects i would notice or if the baby does pass meconium before labor, what will happen to the baby if i dont know it happened or would i?
