I don't hate Picasso--I love Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, but I like Monet's Bridge at Argenteuil better. Of course the Mona Lisa is beautiful and the avatar of painting.

I do not hate Picasso.
But I do not think so , because when we believe in someone as a better or top person, what really we are doing it is to despise our own skills and we lose the opportunity to find our own way, that's why the tyrants exist in many countries of the world.
Picasso just was a good fine art painter, they have existed and many exist others. And it has no target to say which should be or not the best painter

I don't hate Picasso, but his Cubist period is not my favorite work. I have long loved Wayne Theibaud and was so fortunate to be able to take a class from him 2 years ago -my university dream.

I don't hate him. I especially love his Blue Period, or African Influence Period.

But I don't care for a lot of his work. I'm more interested in the works of Gustav Caillebotte.

However, if I had to pick a favourite Expressionist, it would be a tie between Die Brücke Erich Heckel, and Edvard Munch.
