The truth is, there is no god, but we can't handle the truth. Your mind can't handle knowing that it will not exist once you actually die. To know that there is nothing after you die is too scary for your brain and will actually force your to belive there is something, anything when there is nothing. Is it so hard to belive that we live and die the same as animals, how are we better than an ant i crush, its dead, it aint got to 'heaven'.

our brains don't want to DIE, religon makes it all better. You think poeple are addicted to drugs because they need to escape reality, what is that, 10% of the population at the most? Now look at the 80% that are ADDICTED to 'god' because they cant handle life?!

Here is the link. I believe its an, NST right? Is this a good brand? I was looking for a Kawasaki but was unable to find one in my price range. The guy is willing to go down to $1500. Is this a good deal or should I negotiate more. I have never rode a motorcycle before so I figured this would be a great first bike as I am only 5'1 and 102 lbs.. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Only has 300 miles on it.

King James Version, Leviticus 11:20: All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.

I couldn't find any, does anyone have any links to the species of fowl god is talking about? Did god remove them from the planet to stop us from eating them? If so, why didn't he also remove homosexuality and shellfish? 10 points to the person that can find a scientifically verified species of fowl that creeps on all four, or 10 points to the person that gives the most convincing argument against the existence of such fowl.

I hear a lot of people saying that Jehovah's Witnesses aren't going to heaven because they don't believe that Jesus was divine, but that he was God's son. Why is this important? It seems that it is more of a inessential theology thing than the big deal it is made into. Why is this important?

I dont like beer, whiskey or any other alcohol really unless its mixed with so much stuff that I cant taste it.

Im leaving to Morelia michoacan this summer, departing from Tijuana's airport, i want to take many electronic devices with me which are: a laptop, home stereo, 20' LCD tv, Xbox 360, Media projector and a psp. what i want to know is if there will be any problems? not related to weight, because im going with six family members therefore i can take up to 300 Kilos in weight with all of us combined.
Last time i went, i only took a ps2,psp, my laptop and other small things and i was asked how much i paid for each thing and they looked at me in a way like "so you are taking $1200 dollars worth of electronic devices?" kind of way

i just need to know if there is anything i should know before i take all of this things i listed?

I have a ScanDisck 1G MP3 already.

I don't use it much because I don't listen to music solo much (I'm a SAHM) I need either get speakers or I thought I'd get satellite radio. (I'm not sure I'll take the time needed to download music and have been out of the current music loop for a while - if it wasn't Laurie Berkner, I didn't get to hear it.)

I'm not opposed to getting an iPod either.

And advice?

setting: a huge pot with NO LID, over the stove fire, and 1 litre of water.

method 1: pour all in and boil, its faster as all water gain heat as soon as the fire is on.

method 2: pour a large part of it in, and when it's about to boil, gradually add the remainder of the water in small portions(meaning you dont add the rest in at once, but over small portions), as small portions boil fast, thus the overall is faster.

method 3: pour a bit in, when its about to boil, add a bit more in, keep doing it till all is poured in, this is the fastest method.

which exactly is the fastest way? again i say, do not be caught up in gritty details like "opening the lid means heat loss", because i'll assume there's no lid to cover it up.

or do all methods wield the same results?

I want to make a formula as follows.

suppose active cell is c1. and if a1=b1 and also a2=b2, then result should be yes otherwise no. I tried =if(a1=b1,if(a2=b2,"Yes","No")), now if a1=b1, then if a2=b2 or a2<>b2, it works and gives the correct result, but when a1<>b1, it gives false.

I have about $2,500 in collections due to a lay-off 3 years ago. I want to purchase a home soon and want to increase my scores quickly. I will be able to pay off every collection item within 5 or 6 months and read that some agencys will remove items if I agree to pay them in full. If I get all of my collection items removed from my report will that increase my scores immediately? Like a lot of folks in this country I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.


In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check since I have to pass one to earn itfor them??

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their @ss!

Could you imagine how much money the state/country would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?
