Here is the link. I believe its an, NST right? Is this a good brand? I was looking for a Kawasaki but was unable to find one in my price range. The guy is willing to go down to $1500. Is this a good deal or should I negotiate more. I have never rode a motorcycle before so I figured this would be a great first bike as I am only 5'1 and 102 lbs.. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Only has 300 miles on it.

Thanks everyone for your input. I decided to not go with either bike. I'm sure I will be posting again to ask your opinions on a few other bikes that I come across.

Its a horrible brand of bike. When it breaks ( and it will ) it will be very hard for you to find parts. They are very small and slow. You will probably be passed by kids on 250cc scooters.

you would be far better off looking at a used kawasaki ninja 250. Very reliable small bike and a recognized brand. The bike you have linked to is one of those chinese scooter style bikes. Finding any parts is difficult and questionable quality and safety issues. You can find a used ninja 250 in that price range and you will be much better off for doing so.

This is a Chinese knock off of a real motorcycle. You can have one heck of a time getting them fixed as they are sold by places that don't stock parts and you eat the bike when it needs anything. I would shoot the guy trying to sell it to you, they are not worth much and $1500 is about $1495 too much Get a real motorcycle, made by a real manufacturer.

Stay away!!!! Try searching cycletrader.com. I did a search for 250 Ninjas in your area and didn't see anything under about $1900, but keep looking until yo find a deal and don't hesitate to keep posting what you find here for advice. Good luck on your search!!

If you buy that piece of crap your next question will be, "Does anyone know where I can get parts for a cute motorcycle make by the largest wonton noodle maker in China?"

Please do not go any higher than 1400 for this bike. I beleive there are better deals out there. I bought my first bike for 750.00 and drove it 95 miles home. There are way better deals out there I promise.
