Im leaving to Morelia michoacan this summer, departing from Tijuana's airport, i want to take many electronic devices with me which are: a laptop, home stereo, 20' LCD tv, Xbox 360, Media projector and a psp. what i want to know is if there will be any problems? not related to weight, because im going with six family members therefore i can take up to 300 Kilos in weight with all of us combined.
Last time i went, i only took a ps2,psp, my laptop and other small things and i was asked how much i paid for each thing and they looked at me in a way like "so you are taking $1200 dollars worth of electronic devices?" kind of way

i just need to know if there is anything i should know before i take all of this things i listed?

Best thing to do is call the airlines to find out for sure what the policies are. But one thing to keep in mind is that even if they will let you take them, there is a big risk that they might get stolen in transport if they are not in carry on bags.

There its no problem with the psp and the laptop... there could be with the rest of the stuff. The customs people may ask for proof of custom duties that you should pay for that stuff. (the tv, the xbox, the projector and the stereo) forget about the laptop and the psp that's stuff that can be considered as part of your personal stuff. Regarding the other stuff you should just stop at the border when you cross to Tijuana and paid the duties.... the rate its like 17% plus you get a discount for your family members, be sure to tell the guy that you are going south of Mexico, (the rates are diferent if you are going to just the border) and they will give you a document proofing that you paid your duties. On the airline side, you should have no problem if you have exesive luggage, they will charge like 20 USD more, thats the worst thing that can happend. If you bought your stuff in tijuana, forget about customs, just bring your receipt with you.

After checking with the airline..everything should be ok. The questions will come from the customs personal, arriving and upon return home..The governments want their tax and duty on the products. A folder of receipts, and pictures of equipment would be helpful.
