Nope, my life has gotten better. Let's see, I went to college, got a degree and a career. I got married and now have 3 children. Bought a home with a pool in the backyard. Paid my vehicles off. Enjoy my vacations to the mountains for snowboarding in the winter. And enjoy my trips to the lake every other week in the summer to ride my boat and sea doos. Gas prices are a little bit of a burden right now, but those prices always rise and fall. Overall, I take care of my own and things are good.

The short answer is, "No". What has affected my life (and all Americans) for the worse is professional politicians who are so busy keeping their job, they don't DO their job. Public service is a brief civic duty, no a career. Never re-elect anybody! Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Absolutely. I have a neighbor who's son went to Iraq and was killed by a road side bomb. The economy in Michigan is crashing. I've lost confidence that we are still the world leader that we were under so many other Presidents. I am embarrassed when I speak to coworkers in the UK who can't understand why Bush is such an boorish lout. (Remember winking at the Queen.) I am disgusted at the no-bid contracts dolled out to his friends. I am sickened over our government's inability to focus in on the battle against terrorism and actually maker a difference. (Gee has the botched execution of Saddam made ANY difference. And "oh look" the terror level is orange again - zzzzzzz)
Shall I go on?

Yes, I feel that my personal life has been hindered by some of the Bush administrations work. I also believe more is one the way (specifically paying for the Iraq War in the future). But our standard shouldn't be "it hasn't got any worse". Our standard should be "it has improved our lives". If a government hasn't improved the average Americans life, it isn't doing its job.

Do you really want me to answer that????
1. I work in a business that is paid with government funds. I have had to "cut back" numerous times due to the war funding for a war based on lies.
2. I work with information that is confidential, and that means that I have to, as the business owner, take all measures possible to assure that there is no breach in confidentiality. Due to this bogus wire taping and e-mail reading, I now have to hand deliver monthly reports to guardians/caregivers/case managers. Now, when you consider that I do this for 25 people, and some of them have 3 or more reports to deliver, I am wasting time that could be better utilized by the clients I serve, as opposed to running myself ragged delivering reports that are MANDATORY in regards to licensing.
3. I provide transportation for all of my clients. So I won't even begin to discuss gas prices.
These are just 3 examples. I have to go for a meeting that is scheduled.

Yes. Gas prices have caused revised personal budgets and now we have less social services that we previously had and took for granted. My mother and father got hit harder. My father works in the court system and they had major budget cuts. Also, my mother is a teacher and she has had pay cuts and medical insurance cuts because the government has taken huge cuts out of school funding. The no child left behind act is a complete propoganda scam that fools the public into thinking he's helping the schools when in reality he has punished schools for not making the grades he wants but he won't provide the funding they need to meet those grades. My mom is a wonderful and experienced teacher and her students love he but it's hard to teach kids when you have 33 kids crammed in 1 classroom and your expected to teach and keep the peace in those sort of conditions.

YES. The cost of my healthcare has doubled. I pay a sh!t load for gas. These two things hurt me financially. And I have come to realize that our my government cares more about illegal aliens than it does people like me ( people who pay taxes and are lega).
