I enjoyed Red Cap, Hex, State of Play, The New Doctor Who...I am hunting down The State Within at the moment. Wire in the Blood is simply superb...Can anyone suggest anything along these lines? Crime or political dramas with bite...sci fi or military dramas? Can be in the last couple of years too...it need not be only current stuff.
I am also in year three of ReGenesis from the Canadians...smoking sci fi drama with well thought out chrcaters...and cutting edge interactive tech. Excellent.

as an Englishman,i was a amazed on recent working trip to the USA, to witness the absolute terror on people faces when you mention vegetables or fruit
As im led to belive American people, are not told about natures fruits by their own government and thus are under the impression that greens are bad.

Hello all trying to find where i can buy a tea cup dog, that is not so expensive, everywhere i have looked they are so much money, the only one i have seen was 500.00 and to me that was still alot, grandchild wants one so bad but i cannot afford that price. President Bush has already claimed, in a number of public speeches, that we have broken up terrorist plots to attack U.S. citizens on U.S. soil. By claiming this, Bush renders his own "follow us home" argument null and void. If attacks have already been planned and broken up, the terrorists are obviously already trying to attack us here while our troops are still in Iraq. How can Bush claim, with a straight face, that a consequence of leaving Iraq will be that terrorists will "follow us home" to attack us on our own soil when, with his own words and while our troops are still in Iraq, he has told us that they are already trying to attack us on our own soil?

My cousin has hated every guy I've ever dated. The funny thing is, she's only met two of them. My boyfriend is everything to me and treats me like a princess (I return his affection so I'm not a spoiled brat or anything). He's been nothing but nice to my cousin (and the rest of my family) but she still tells me she doesn't like him. I've always said I would want my cousin as my MOH when I got married as we grew up together, but I wouldn't want her holding that honor or responsibility if she doesn't even like the guy. My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year and are pretty serious and have talked about marriage.
What should I do in this situation? My cousin means a lot to me so I can I get her to see that my boyfriend is actually a great guy?

Also, as a matter of clarification: the rest of my family (including my parents) love my boyfriend.
My cousin is 26 (currently sleeping around with a 2-year-old daughter and another baby on the way), my boyfriend is 23, and I'm 21.

This is a serious question. I've noticed a couple of posts / responses to posts on R&S asking people to provide scripture pertaining to free will. I know that God chooses us, but I have also read several scriptures that encourage us to choose:

Joshua 24:15
2 Kings 18:32
Prov 1:29
Prov 8:10
Prov 16:16
Isaiah 7:15
Isaiah 56:4
Phil 1:22
1 Peter 4:3

Is this not free will? If not, what is the meaning of the scriptures that encourage us to choose God's ways / discourage us from choosing our own ways?

He finished with me six weeks ago and i was absolutely devestated, he ended it because it was too full on for him as he's 22 and i'm 24 and he didn't think we wanted the same things and he felt he was too young to get in a relationship. We were together for 18mths and lived together. I moved out and rented a studio on my own (where i am now) and went on a few dates to distract myself but nothing serious. i met a nice guy who has overwhelmed me with his interest and i can see serious potential but i met my ex last night and he's now saying he doesn't know what he wants anymore he thinks he wants me back. i'm so in limbo, how do i make a decision on what to do???

I recently sent a graphic design company some examples of my work in order to hopefully get some work experience. I sent my examples in an Indesign file which after trying to shrink down the size but without losing the quality of the image I got the file down to 5MB. At first I thought that that seemed like a reasonable size but now I am wondering if it was too big and they might not bother looking at it. Does anyone know what a good size to send someone would be?

ok,not exactly, its mostly when i sleep at nite, instead of my body waking me up to go to the bathroom, i sleep all nite and when i wake up i need to go to the bathroom badly and my stomach hurts cuz i held it in for so long? what could be causing this? i dont have insurance i wont be seeing a doctor anytime soon so please dont just say go see a doctor, i know that, this is just a first step, to see if i really should worry

On an average day, for lunch, I will eat:
1 cereal-sized bowl of salad
an orange or apple
1 cereal-bowl sized portion ofSteamed vegetables, (carrots, green & wax beans, sometimes cauliflower or broccolli in there too) or a less than-cereal-sized bowl of pasta.
Celery, and water.
On some days I will eat 3 or 4 crackers and some peanut butter, but only if I'm really hungry or forgot to eat breakfast ;)
It is unfortunate that my school does not provide many vegetarian dishes that are not pre-packaged. ( I will not use styrofoam )

Its not eating and when I got it it was just in a plastic container with stuff from the lake they probably kidnapped it from. Im probably going to return it to the lake them buy a baby turtle that was raised in captivity. Until then how do I get it to eat? Ive tried feeding it worms lettuce and turtle food from the pet store. It just ignores it and goes back to scraping at the sides of the container its in. (I got a new one and made it look like an actual habitat ^_^ ) Is it just not hungry or do I have to worry about it dying before I can take it back to the lake?
