I have asked 2 other questions about being an organ donor and almost everyone who said they would not do it said it was for religious reasons so it must be more common than you think.

Boy I can't wait to see the nut jobs come out on this one! I would rather NOT see my child die than let him have an organ transplant and anyone who would should be prosecuted for child abuse.

I know very few people who would refuse an organ transplant for their child, or themselves, if it was truly a lifesaving measure. There are a few religions that forbid it and blood transfusions, but I don't think it's the whole of Christianity.

The only way I would ever let my child have an organ transplant would be if it was prescribed by a doctor. My children always have civilized toys.

It doesn't happen that way. It's usually the courts intervening when parents or family members won't allow their own child or relative to have certain medical procedures because of their religious convictions.

Many Christians (as are other belief systems) are organ donors.
Drop the premise.

Do you actually think that is a common belief?
I forget which religion that is which does not believe in modern medicine, but it is not the mainstream of any major religion.
So, to answer your question, statistically no one.

I am a Christian and have filled out my donor card, I think grouping ALL Christians into this group is a wrong generalization and shows a lack of understanding of our beliefs, mixed in with hate for us all.
