I have a ScanDisck 1G MP3 already.

I don't use it much because I don't listen to music solo much (I'm a SAHM) I need either get speakers or I thought I'd get satellite radio. (I'm not sure I'll take the time needed to download music and have been out of the current music loop for a while - if it wasn't Laurie Berkner, I didn't get to hear it.)

I'm not opposed to getting an iPod either.

And advice?

We have a satellite radio at work and you still end up listening to songs that you don't like. They have some really nice speaker systems that you can put an Ipod on. Costco has a 1GB for $142. I'm going to get one pretty soon. They also sell the speaker systems.

I say get a Sansa player, it plays video, mp3, photos and has a radio FM tuner for less than an ipod or satellite radio($119)

I love my IPOD but it can get expense for the assecories and the music is free at Soulseek. However, if you dont have the time to spend on downloading; Sirus Radio. Its awesome. Its a bit expense at first to install it and it has a montly service fee.
