im 16 years old and im 5'8 and i want to get up to 6'0. my parents are 5'4 and 6'0.

I go to an assembly of God church. Recently I've been questioning some of my pastor's teaching. He teaches that we were already healed at the cross. He will not hold prayer services and will not pray for sick people. If someone sick from the congregation asks for prayer, he annnoints them with oil, and says, "Be healed in Jesus name." Then they are supposed to say back, "I accept my healing in Jesus name." (My pastor won't even see a doctor because he says he is already healed by Jesus).
I've been born again for 5 years, and I am just confused by this. I used to go to a Methodist church, and we were taught that prayer releases God's power to heal us. My old pastor held Wednesday night prayer services where we would lay hands on each other and pray for their healing. I've also read books by Dutch Sheets with similar beliefs about prayer releasing the power of God.
What do you think? Are we already healed so we don't need prayer or are we supposed to pray for each other to be healed?

I just read a article that said a bar in Australia is allowed to ban straight people from entering it. To me that is Discrimination. I am a straight Male. I would have no desire to go there. However. Where is the ACLU, And every other civil rights group at. I want some opinions from the gay community on how you feel about this. Is this Right, or is this discrimination.

About three months ago my bf and i broke up, we didn't talk much after because it was a bit awkward. We recently started talking again to eachother with out it being weird, we actually became close again and it was great. Thing is i haven't gotten over him and he started to confide in me and told me one day that he wanted to say something, but he had hoped that he'd tell my bff first then have her tell me, he then told me that he had started developing feelings for her. They go to the same school but he said he always only saw her as a little sister, he's a year older than my bff and I, also he told me he loved me three months exactly the day he confsed about his feelings for my bff. That hurt a lot. I told him also that i was okay with him having feelings for my bff, and he also doesn't know i still like him. I have to admit i feel jealousy twords my bff because she likes him, but i can't hate him because, i can't seem to get over him. I don't know what to do, it hurts =(

One of my co-workers husband passed Friday. I never met him, but my work wants me to attend the service. I would like to go out of respect for her, but my company is really cheap. They do not pay holidays, sick days, vacation, etc.. and I WILL NOT GET PAID FOR ATTENDING THE SERVICE. I have been married for 2.5 years. In the past year my husband has become very rude. He makes important decisions without me, including giving away my cats.
He will NOT compromise about anything, when I ask him to compromise he says "I am always right so why should I compromise?" I am very frustrated. He often makes me feel stupid, always correcting little things that I do wrong. I don't mind him correcting me but the way he does it is mean. I ask him if he wants to go out (example: the movies, beach, bowling) He always says no. He hasn't even had intercourse with me in over a month, just says he doesn't feel like it. I am starting to feel like I am the only one trying here.
I understand that marriage is a give and take relationship... but I am the only one giving.

I have a step-daughter that comes to visit her father and I every summer. She will be 12 in August. We get along really great, but when it comes to her taking a shower it is a real battle. It is an argument every day when trying to get her to shower or brush her teeth. I just don't know what to do. It does not matter if her dad tells her or if I do. Butt yaa, i'ma sayy he's gonna make an appearance within 20 years or even less if you pay close attention to some of the changes in the world.... and I only guess that cause it'll be 2000 years after his death and the planet has officially gone to shiit now... also take into mind that if Christ doens't come Global warming will kill most of us anyways.
