Well today was a bad day, and I went and smoked 4 cigarettes one after the other, it was my first time. Well, now I have this burning sensation in my stomach. I just want to know if it is the symptom of begining to smoke, or is it just me?
And how do I get rid of it?

I've recently been seeing a bizarre sentiment being tossed around here. An example is this: "A dinosaur footprint and a human footprint (fossils) were found in the same layer of sediment in a river bed. Cool huh?"

Yup. That would be cool, all right!

Problem is, not ONE of them cites a reference.
One of these morons apparently made up the claim and the other fundies figure "Wow! That's neat! I'm gonna tell everybody about this one!" and it spread like wildfire.

And then you fundies get all riled when I call you a bunch of morons when such irrefutable evidence of stupidity and gullibility among you exists!

Go ahead, morons: Gimme a citation that gives any credence whatsoever to this "extraordinary claim".

i have a desktop running windows Me and laptop running windows 98SE.now i have connected both wirelessly using Dlink wireless modem.network configuration is done same way for both i.e in terms of work group name etc and the laptop connects to internet wirelessly through desktop so i guess it connects to desktop but i can't seem to access desktop through network neighbourhood for file sharing etc..i can access laptop from my desktop without any problem.

please help!

okay, so I'm 15 (almost 16) and I've never had a boyfriend before. I'm currently a sophomore in HS. In middle school, I was picked on a lot because I was ugly(big nose, ugly face). I'm Alot prettier now( but still have the big nose), and I go to a new school in a new state now. I'm terribly shy(when it comes to guys) , and a little reserved. I have Alot more friends now, and a little more open. I also try to stay positive as possible. Is this just a "phase" or what?

I have a really bad sunburn and I used aloe vera. I'm curious on what aloe vera really does. I know it forms a protective barrier which helps retain moisture and promotes healing but does it do anything else for a sun burn? possibly prevent peeling?

I am a single father of 5 young children, 1 boy and 4 girls. I have full custofy of them and their mother sees them on her vacations from school (I'm paying for her schooling) My children are well behaved. i get compliments on them. There is a woman at my job who I have been seeing (Friends with benefits). She told me she really likes me but that she won't have a full relationship me because I have 5 children. She has 2 children and is struggling financially to get by. I own my home and earn over 90,000 per year. I left a $150,000 per year CFO job when my marriage broke up(I was working so many hours I didn't see my family) I told her, I would financially take care of her and her kids. She only has to live with me and help me with mine. 3 of my kids are in school. I can easily get another job that will pay me well over 150,000 per year, and with better hours. I know my kids need a woman in their lives. I'm not very nurturing. How do I find a woman who will accept a man with kids.

By a group of Mexicans, asking him what a bboner, asking him to suck their penis, and asking him who he wwanted to have sex with. They also hinted a threat to him, forcing him NOT to tell what they said to ANYONE (friends, parents, school staff, police, etc.) Now, for some reason, he opened up, and we're wondering what to do. He said most of this stuff goes on in P.E. (before, during, and after)


We thought about giving him a tape recorder. We are going to have him turn on the tape recorder as he approaches them and record the sexual harrassment (he said it happens on a daily basis), then tell them he was going to have a chat with the principal, "about what was going on the last 3 months", and get specific about what kind of harrassment was happening, and go on about his day. He asked, what should I do if they threaten me, we told him to say, "is that a threat? Should I talk to the principal". Then, we take the recording to the principal and police and have the kids arrested.
