Well today was a bad day, and I went and smoked 4 cigarettes one after the other, it was my first time. Well, now I have this burning sensation in my stomach. I just want to know if it is the symptom of begining to smoke, or is it just me?
And how do I get rid of it?
Thanks for all the Answers in advance.

Let time pass by,you might be feeling nauseous and kind of light-headed.Your body is not used to nicotine, that's why.Drink water, relax, breath in and out,and do not smoke.

Let me tell you, same way you started today, quit today.I am an addicted smoker and I can't wait to quit for good.Once you start,it's hard to quit. And,your health won't be the same. You can't catch breath like you used to,etc.

It is probably a little of both the cigarettes and the stressful reason that made you want to smoke in the first place. Put the cigarettes down and turn to something that will really help the situation. Talk to a family member or a school counselor. Good Luck.

cigarettes can aggravate an ulcer. do you have one? first time smokers may experience dizziness or nausea and often choke a lot. not trying to be funny. sorry i can't answer your question.

what blows my mind is why anyone would willfully start smoking nowadays, knowing what we know; not to mention the new laws about smoking and the price of cigarettes.

you may believe you can just, STOP whenever you want to; but that is not true. take it from me. i've been smoking for forty two years. i'm lucky to be alive.

go get some maalox at the pharmacy. that should help you.
if it continues, go to your doctor and please don't smoke.

this is great! you have now experienced your first unintended effect. smoking has many great unintended side effects, sleeplessness changes in sex drive and performance(nicotine affects your vasculature), more frequent lung illnesses(colds asthma, lung cancer), throat and stomach irritation and cancer, oh and if you exhale smoke through your nose...irritation and cancer there too.
smoking coats your tongue so food tastes different and bonus ...since food is gross tasting(lick an ash tray and then enjoy a ice cream) bonus! you loose weight! but get use to the wight loss cancer is a great dieting tool! oh ya and once you can't quit with out a Major effort and you finally make 2 months free of smoking you will notice an average weight gain of 30-40 lbs...more chins than a Chinese phone book!
you will also find that smoking is great for making your wallet loose weight too. isn't that great!

having said all that pal...don't do it ....I could probably go on for another 2 pages about the unintended results of smoking...but the whole point is don't start and don't get hooked.

Smoking can trigger acid secretion in the stomach . You need to get some Mylanta and Pepcid over the counter .
Stop smoking when you are ready.

smoking is a bad habit.it can start off with just "occasionally smoking" but once u get one taste, after a "stressful day" you will start to make that a stress reliver and continue to smoke.i say quit now and dont ever pick up on a cig again.its no good. its no symptom.if u smoke u smoke.if u dont u dont. but its best u dont. its like pringles.once u start,u cant stop.lol.im serious though.its too late for me.

Stop smoking like NOW.

You're not addicted yet, and if you keep smoking because of a bad day, it will turn into a horrible habbit. Stop now. Eventually you will become dependent on it and it will be almost impossible to quit.

That is typical during pregnancy and what I used to relieve the pain is chocolate milk and cheez-it crackers.Elevate your head at night with pillows so the acid doesn't go up to your throat. Not eating in the late evening and not laying down after eating helps a lot.
