A Malaysian museum has closed an exhibition on supernatural beings after Islamic religious authorities issued a fatwa, or decree, against it, state media have reported.
The National Fatwa Council had ruled on Thursday that exhibitions on ghosts, ghouls and supernatural beings were forbidden, as they could undermine the faith of Muslims.Abdul Shukor Husin, the council's chair, was quoted as saying that "supernatural beings are beyond the comprehension of the human mind." "We don't want to expose Muslims to supernatural and superstitious beliefs," the Berita Harian newspaper quoted him as saying.

I've always kept the temperature pretty low (55-60) in the house, ever since I've had my 2 kitties (when I rescued them at 4 weeks old). I hear them sneezing a lot and I don't want them to get sick. Funny thing is, though, when it's warm outside (like at 75) and I turn on the AC the cats run to the vents and hold their faces over it LOL to cool them off I'm guessing.

So have they just adapted to the cold and like it? Or do cats as a species like warmer weather? Why are they sneezing all the time? They don't appear to be sick at all. Everything looks normal and healthy. Even at their checkups, the Vet says so...

Can you deny what is written thousand of years ago but is happening now?

When someone gives up their life for you, (not necessarily thinking "love"), but just putting themselves in the path of a rabid animal, or an on-coming bus, are they not saving you from some kind of horrible fate? So when Jesus did that, what exactly was he saving us from, and what is so horrible about it?

My stupid choir teacher had me under the impression that i was getting a solo( I Will Survive) and so she gives it away the one girl that always gets stuff before me and that pissed me off!! I find this out today so I'm crying and she goes GET OVER IT ,SHE DID BETTER THAN YOU , SHE IS BETTER THAN YOU. That made me cry harder. we are trying to create a baby bottle warmer for our project ( biomedical engineering field ) , our main goal is to achieve even heating . we thought of using the vibrators so that it will vibrate and shake the liquid in the bottle and generate an even temp throughout the bottle.

can any one tell me if this is a good idea, and if we plan on using the vibrators,what is the speed of the vibrator we should use and what is another way to measure the temperature to assure even heating of the bottle.

Have any of you ever been so completley confused in a relationship that it drives you crazy? I dont know what the right thing to do is. All we ever do is argue over everything because if I dont like something he does and I get angry about it he completley takes it overboard and treats me like ****. I had my birthday and he didnt get me anything cause he doesnt have a job right now and when I questioned him about it he hung up on me and said "thanks for making me feel like ****". *I didnt mean to make him feel like ****, it just hurt my feelings. god wtf?

I think I have a serious problem. I've been having really REALLY bad bleeding when I poo. I have fresh red blood on the toilet paper when I wipe, there is blood on the stool, and blood in the toilet water. This blood is also accompanied by excruciating pain. I've had this over the last year (it comes and it goes) but lately it just seems to be here to stay (OUCH!!!!). CAN THIS BE CANCER?

I just got a 22" widescreen Samsung monitor, and I've noticed that 90% of web pages only take about half the width of the screen (and they are centered with lots of free gray space to the sides). Is there an extension or anything for Firefox that will allow me within a single window to have two web sites open at the same time, kind of like a split screen?

My friend called and stated she had a friend that was very depressed but was retired from the army and loved to spend his money. She wants me to call him and talk to him and set up a date to go out one day. Anyone i have ever met was face to face. And i'm usually the one to start off things with a joke of how they are acting at a bar etc. I have never called someone that i know is depressed and try to lift there spirits. I told her if i call and i would rather we all went out together. But i am still left wondering what to say when i call. I know men are not very talkative. And i just happen to be sitting around the house myself feeling lonely all week, so how can i boost a retired mans spirits?

Per my first question about my front tooth being knocked loose had basically the same answer from others to "go to the dentist - now", I went and it has to be extracted - it cracked across the crown. But since I do not have dental insurance, they are charging me $195.00 for this tooth extraction. Sounds kinda pricey. Just wanted to know what others thought. Thanks!
