The American Petroleum Institute told lawmakers its members were not to blame for high pump costs.
"We recognize that consumers are frustrated with today's higher prices," API chief economist John Felmy told lawmakers on a House panel investigating the price run-ups.

How can they honestly expect the American public to believe they are not responsible and continue to post record breaking profits???

I keep the door locked, and I use a child safety lock on the handle but she has figured out how to unlock it. I can't install anymore locks on it because it is a metal door and my lease requires me to make NO changes to the apartment.
She loves running outside, but I usually catch her by the time she reaches the bottom of the stairs. My neighbor found her after she was out for about 3 minutes and called CPS on me. Well, last night she did it again. My daughter got out about 3 minutes while I was in the bathroom and the neighbor caught her again. Good thing I know she's safe, but now I'm terrified that CPS might try to take her away from me.
Today I put a large heavy trunk in front of the door so she cant get out, but is there any other suggestions?

I was 6 weeks and had an early ultrasound b/c I had some dark brown spotting and that is when I found out I had a blighted ovum. It has now been just over 2 weeks since my D&C, I have my own DR's reocomendations but I was just wanting some information from people who have been down this road on what they did and whether they had any complications the second time. This was my first pregnancy.

Derek Jeter is a bit like the old fashioned gay movie actors. The studios insisted they be seen in public with a variety of beautiful women. In fact, and in truth, many of those guys were gay. (Rock Hudson is a good example.) I have had several people in Scottsdale tell me of seeing Jeter with young, attractive men in Scottsdale nightclubs during Spring training. Ditto for food servers in Scottsdale's upscale restaurants. But, when he gets to the Big Apple because of his stature as a famous person, he is always seen with beautiful women.Frankly, I don"t care a whit if he is straight or gay...he is a hell of a ball player.But, which is he?

Lets just say that a person that you care for alot and is a parent to you in so many different levels of life just got cheated on by the person that they have adore and have been honest more than 10 years, how do you gain trust and believe in love again after you seen that no matter how long you been with a person they still dont understand the meaning of love?

For example, and this is PURELY an example, when someone gets an e-mail instructing them not to buy gas or milk or something else in order to cause the prices to drop and they blindly follow along and do it believing they're doing something about the problem when really not buying it for one day isn't going to affect anything and then they get mad and call you ignorant because you thought for yourself and actually knew more than what an e-mail said so you bought it at your own convenience instead?

Since we all know this nation is 80-90% christians who believe in God and prayer for the sick, is it only natural to let God heal people . Why increase my taxes when God can handle it .
What need is their for health care . If God wants you to hang around a few more years your families prayers will cure you .
Ask the cancer survivors who have been healed by prayer saving hundreds of thousands in expensive chemo therapy and experimental drugs .
Remember your reward is in the next life anyhow .
This is how they think .
