Is it coincidental or indicative that maybe some of the current theories are flawed.

Yes I understand that this is one scientist, but there are many other dissenters. We are being told there is consensus and being led to believe that every scientist in the world agrees on this, but there are thousands who do not. I could have plugged in 50 different articles just like this. Most of the scientists are not even looking at Mars and the other planets, why not. If the Sun is the cause all the planets would be heating correct? Just because I only post on link, doesn't mean there aren't many others. Does any body research things before coming to firm conclusions any more?

It shows that Al Gore and his cronies are dead wrong..! Like Mars, Earth has undergone countless *natural* cycles of global warming / cooling for millions of years. Innumerable scientists and research teams have proven this to be true over and over again, but since their data don't fit into the current hysteria you don't hear much about that.

Our civilization is almost certainly accelerating the current cycle and increasing its effects, but there is absolutely *NO WAY* we're going to stop it completely.

It tells us nothing about Earth. Here is a quote from page 2 of the link you provided:

The conventional theory is that climate changes on Mars can be explained primarily by small alterations in the planet's orbit and tilt, not by changes in the sun.

You did read your own source, all the way through, right?

It clearly said that this was a theory held by "one scientist". Being a certified scientist myself I could claim that global warming is caused by an overpopulation of penguins in Antarctica perhaps we should explore my theory. The consensus on the cause of Earth's global warming is held by 95% of the scientific community to be humans. If some nut has an alternate theory then the onus on them is to show why the accepted theory is wrong, I haven't seen anyone do that yet.

I heard that somewhere, too. I do remember in 8th grade or so learning about the sun increasing in size or heat or something like that. Anyway, if you think about it, the glaciers used to reach as far south as central Illinois (not sure what latitude without looking at a map) and they melted without all the modern-day pollutions and booming population of the earth. I don't think there's too much we can do about it. The earth (and other planets) just have to change as do stars like the sun, and we must adapt. It's in God's hands. If He didn't want it to happen, it wouldn't. A few hundred years ago, didn't we have a mini Ice Age or something, too?

It shows us what is going to happen to our planet in the future.

well it could mean that we are partialy responsibale for the warming and not 100% to blame.
