"The US has always been proud of its civil liberties and democracy. But will the US continue to have these rights during the last days? Rev.13:11 "then I saw another beast coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb" Daniel 7:17 Beasts= kingdoms/nations. Rev 17:15 Sea= people, nations, tongues.Time period- Rev13:10 describes the 1st. beast as 'going into captivity', the second beast thus came into being about the same time as the first went into captivity..The papacy received a serious wound in 1798. When the French(Alexander the Great) took the pope prisoner. The second prophetic beast gained prominance after this time. The US is the only world power arising in 1798. Horns=power Rev13:11-Two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon" It would have no crowned head or king like authority. A new nation that would NOT be opposed to God. But what happens next? How do nations speak? Thru their legislative bodies. The US goes from a lamb to a dragon."He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth worship the first beast." What about our civil liberties? Church and state united once more like in medieval times. It sounds hard to believe? Think about what would happen if a Religious revival were to take over our country.(Rev.16:14) Maybe the last chance to save our nation from moral ruin, terrorism, kids killing each other in school. What do all religions have in common that they can unite with? A day of worship?. The Supreme Court thinks so(McGowan v.Maryland) Justice William Rehnquist agreed in 1985. People think that they can rescue the nation by enforcing morality, and will demand new laws.Pat Robertson wrote in The New World Order p.236 "We have outlawed the Sunday law, If we are to bring this nation back to God, we have to worship God together". Robert Grant(Christian Voice Org.) "If Christians unite we can do anything" Rev.14:9-10 Will you worship the mark of the beast? Or will you do God's will at the risk of violating laws and risking prosecution and persecution?
"The Beast is a political Religious system. The United States will give power to this religious system. The mark of the beast is not a chip or a credit card . It is the observance of religious traditions in place of God's holy commandments. A counterfit system of worship that attempts to substitute the Creator's Sabbath."(The Next Superpower)
Observance of the Sabbath=sabado=saturday- started in creation, not with the Jewish people. The only commandment that says God is our Creator and we are children. God's seal among His people. The Catholic church says"Sunday is our mark of authority...The church is above the bible and this transference of sabbath observance is proof of that fact." The US will give power to this religious system and anyone who is against it will suffer persecution. Rev13:8/Matthew 24:9" you will be arrested, persecuted and killed. You will be hated all over the world because of your allegiance to me."

Where we are right now. Welcome to the end times. Read about the flood and Noah's ark. It is written that as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be when the son of man returns. Which means no one believed that it would rain because of the long unending drought. When Noah tried to tell them they said the same things the people say today. They told him he was full of it. Yada Yada Yada. Blah Blah Blah. You know, just read the nasty comments on this website alone and wake up to the fact that it is the end times. The reference to America in the bible is the young lion. England is the old lion and all the countries that spurred off of england are the young lions.

There is no specific reference to America in the "end times" scriptures. It does refer to nations that will aid Israel, and America is usually held to be part of the group. But beyond that, it is not listed as a major player.

Somewhere in the upper atmosphere... wait... what "end times"? The real end of the planet or the falsely interpreted version of Revelation, which was actually written to condemn Rome during the persecution of early Christians?

Isn't it always the end times with you people?

The only thing you've got is the mention of an eagle, which just happens to have been the symbol of Rome, and before that Persia or Babylon, I forget which.
