I'm trying to make my dog less anxious and perhaps bond physically with him, but I'm not going to lick his face (or anywhere else, for that matter). I was curious if the action of petting is supposed to simulate licking (grooming).

is a myth perpetuated by the drug industry and not a phenomenon of our unhealthy post-modern society...then why do so many men use the drug/s?
I asked a question searching for deeper connections to the sexuality problems that creations like viagra seem to suggest and got nothing but answers that say it's all a myth.
If everyone knows this why are they still buying into it?
And what came first the chicken or the egg?

okay, I normally only babysit boys. I have two nephews and all my friends but one has boys. I don't mean to be sick here or make anyone think I'm a child perv. I'm not. Just I'm not used to girls.

So I had to change her butt. It was really sticky like clay. After cleaning her butt, I checked to make sure there wasn't any inside her genitals. While I was cleaning her out, cause she had some in there, I saw a bump at the opening of her vagina...was it her cervix or something else? Just wondering, it looked weird. She's 11 months old.

Over the last 2 years, i have gained about 100 pounds. (Poor diet, no exercise, emotional ups and downs) I want to get healthy and lose some weight, but I have a problem staying motivated. What is the best diet and what is a good way to stay motivated? I'm also short on time so long workouts are out of the question...any suggestions?

Sounds like an easy question, but here are the scenarios:

You can have one of the three....

A) You've won a 1 million dollar lottery. You decide to get paid out via annuity. This means you get equal installments for 20 years. The total of all years equals 1 million dollars minus taxes. You don't work for money.

B) You've won a 1 million dollar lottery. You decide to take your payout as a lump sum distribution. This means you roughly get half the money immediately. You're smart, you want the money to last. You invest it and get 8% annual return. You don't work for money.

C) You land a job that pays you 50,000 a year and are confident you will get 5% raises annually. You don't play the lottery.

Assuming you live 20 years following each scenario, which one are you financially better off with? Which option would you personally prefer? Why?

I don't give my dog our food. But I have heard others talk about them giving their dog food (cheez its,yogurt,fruit etc....) and just wondered if that is good for them. I do know you don't give your dog bones.

I'm writing a book which involves a sailing trip. It would have to be a relatively small sailboat but able to sleep about 3 people. And I was wondering, does such a thing exist?

I know that speedboats often have quite large cabins, and obviously bigger cruise ships do, but can you get 'family' size sailing boats for trips?

I live overseas permanently, but file US Income Taxes. According to the IRS, I know I can deduct my medical expenses as long as they are 7.5% or more of my gross income. However, can I still do this even though all of my expenses are incurred outside the U.S.?
