is a myth perpetuated by the drug industry and not a phenomenon of our unhealthy post-modern society...then why do so many men use the drug/s?
I asked a question searching for deeper connections to the sexuality problems that creations like viagra seem to suggest and got nothing but answers that say it's all a myth.
If everyone knows this why are they still buying into it?
And what came first the chicken or the egg?

ED is another market driven (mis)diagnosis, like ADHD, chronic fatigue syndrome, metabolic syndrome, and a host of other "syndromes" which are a collection of symptoms which don't fit into any established disease pattern.

I'm not saying the condition called ED is a myth, there are probably some legitimate cases of it, but I believe it is over-diagnosed and treated in the name of increased profits.

To answer the chicken-egg question, first came the pharmaceutical rep, then came the over-prescription.

You know what they say about 'assuming'! When you get up in your 40's nothing works as well anymore for men or women, you'll see, even a 7 or 8 inch rigid rod of reality might only be 6 if it has been worn out. Everyone wants to be 20 again or even 15 for men because no-one forgets what 100% is/was like and if a little pill can recreate the illusion of that it would be an understandably desirable experience.
The myth is that we can all choose not to age and die, it's only a question of how and when!
Oh and second greatest city in the world perhaps and chickens mutated from dinosaurs then came chicken eggs!

I dont believe that it is a myth it is just something that wasnt really talked about. In the past we mostly heard about women lack of libido problems but I guess it was not macho to talk about such a mens problem. Regardless I find the whole thing to be rather sexist as probably some male scientist couldnt get it up so he worked his and his colleagues buts off to figure it out. Why is there really nothing for women and their libido problems? I have heard more about that in the past than ED.

Who says you need ED to use said drugs? Imagine the benefits of having a 4 hour erection for younger participants?

And only in the US does drug companies market medications like this, I've never heard of anything like this in Canada.

Either they really do have ED, or the myth of an increase of ED has had such a psychological impact on them that it manifests itself as ED, or they just want to see what happens.

They're watching too much porno ... and think they have to be in a porno flick ... so they're not satisfied with their package, or performance because they've bought into the fantasy they've downloaded from the Internet.
