usually when a chiropractor says this, they mean you have pulled the inner costal muscles at the rib cage. it's easy to pull those muscles, from moving the wrong way or exercises, etc.

next time you see the chiropractor ask what they think caused the problem.

A pulled rib? I think u have a pulled leg... ie: the Chiropractor is pulling ur leg. You can fracture ribs, you can bruise ribs, you can even tear the cartilage between your ribs. But you can't have a pulled rib. You can pull one of the muscles around your rib cage... but you can't have a pulled rib. I think you should see a real doctor & get a real diagnosis.

Try sip rib syndrome or slipping rib syndrome.
