And just how do you propose we REALLY help, fly the flag, pray for the troops safe return, sending more care packages, speaking louder in public about the importance of winning this war on terror, or perhaps writing opposition congress members on the importance of their funding our efforts?
Outside of these few things we civilians have little option for supporting our troops. It's time for legislation allowing the sale of war bonds so that we can help financially like they did in WW2.
I heard Dennis Miller make this statement today and it really makes sense.
Furthermore, ALL American youth should have minimum compulsory service (not neccesarily military) to the country in order to enjoy the benefits and freedoms we all should be thankful for. Too many cowardly stand back and complain about the social conditions right here at home and do absolutely nothing to help anyone but themselves.
The war our brave soldiers are fighting now is a fight for our civilization and very way of life against those who would gladly die in their efforts to defeat us.

they come on here ra ra go to war. But like the Islamic clerics who send others into battle to kill there self they stay where it is safe. All world leaders who declare war should be on the front lines. Mandatory.

too old, if I was 20 years old I'd join the Marines. Just think, 3 meals a day, free medical care, free housing & money for college. The best part would be I could "legally" kill people and you'd be paying me to do it!!
