on this news show, that showed how those numbers of dead that we hear of everyday in iraq about those bodies that they find randomly tortured and killed...that they are usually innocents with names that reflect the shiite religion family...and that when they torture them...they many times use POWERDRILLS...does any liberal or democrate realize what kind of pain and damaged can be associated with using a long 1/4 size bit to drill into the bottum of someones foot must do...burning, beating, decapitating, it all sounds like childs play, to the gory scene of using a powerdrill on someone...

anyways...i think at this point, i do want to see america stay...and destroy those taht feel that torture of this degree can be used inour day and age!

I have to go with Minnesota vs. Green Bay. Yes, I'm a Vikings fan, but since 2003, every game they've played (other than the playoff game in '04) has been within 7 points. Whether both suck or are on a roll, one thing is always for sure---it'll be a nailbiter.

I know that alot of Irish people are of Scotish decent because of what Cromwell did and so their languages are similar and they can understand each other. But my father, a Welsh speaker told me that he can only understand very few words of spoken Irish. Those words being simmilar to Welsh but most of the language is completely different from the Irish and the Scottish. My father and brother say we are not Celts but Ancient Britains and that the Cornish spoke the same language as us. We lived in Britain before the Celts arrived.

Religions spread their beliefs to show people the "truth." Shouldn't stopping the spread of such ignorance be important? Or is it ok to let people believe what they want? Religion often leads to closed minds but also gives some people comfort.

Lately I find myself often on the verge of tears and I'm not always sure why. In fact I'm not usually sure why. Even on my birthday and Mother's Day I felt so disconnected, I wanted to fly away. I'm not happy with my life. I never thought I would end up a housewife. I never thought I'd be overweight. My husband's family talks about me behind my back. When I found out, my husband didn't stick up for me either and that's not his usual m.o. I have kids, and though I love them and do a lot for them I don't have any time to go do anything for myself because it would interfere with what I do for them. I don't have many real friends, if any. I don't trust anyone with how I really feel because I've been let down too many times before. My husband talks about being supportive of me going back to work but when I tried to once he got REALLY jealous and I had never seen him like that before so I wonder if keeping some weight on me is a way of thwarting that... advice?

My dad's green card was stolen 3 years ago, and now his status is still checking for some terrorist stuff because he lost it. Actually says so in the letter, instead of an interview invitation.
