I have small backyard I share with my nature-loving daughter. There are old rusty pipes that are too heavy and too deep to remove, so I covered it with a large pile of brush and cane. It is along a fence in a grove of young trees so underneath the pile is a mass of tree roots. I'm planning to put a mound of soil over it about 5 or 6" deep to hide it. My daughter suggested it would be a nice place for a fairy garden but I wonder, if I plant perennials or flowers that will attract butterflies, will they thrive in such conditions? What plants could I use?

i sometimes wear an eye patch, don't ask...lol...& the one i bought just recently is too plain (blah blah blah)...it is one of those one size fits all. well in Kill Bill, i noticed the eye patch Daryl Hannah/Elle Driver was wearing & i just simply want one. it looked like it was HARD PLASTIC & INTERCHANGEABLE, plus the elastic was wider than normal eye patches.

If I decide to stay abroad after a trip to Europe this summer I would have to return 3 months before my passport expires. I will most likely return before Feb, but I would like the flexibility of having a passport that does not expire in April.

The other issue is that I leave in a month. Is there even enough time to renew it? Is there an express renew process?

traveling at light speed is obviously not fast enough. So how would a space traveler of the future travel between stars? List any theories please.

I would imagine a machine on board that could bend space and be at a different place instantly.

I'm such a worry wart. I get so depressed sometimes because of the stupidest things. I constantly worry about what kind of silent diseases and sicknesses I could have. When we study certain diseases in school, some of the few symptoms for me are fimiliar (or at least my crazy mind says they are) and I automatically diagnose myself. I get scared to death of the results of the illnesses I diagnose myself with, and that's how I get depressed. I can tell you one thing, that going to the doctor everytime I get paranoid isn't cheap- and I don't want to do that. I have a good life, and don't want to be put on drugs because I'm so down. My mom says I'm crazy because I always feel this way, but how can I not? So, if any of the Yahoo! Answers experts would like to make me feel any better about my obsessive problem, that would be great.

I had a minor auto accident about 6 months. The person who hit me was entirely at fault and his insurance company paid for all the damages. Since it cost the insurance company more than 500$ to fix the vehicle, they reported the incident to DMV. The insurance company says that it has repaired the car in full and the repairs have a full life-time warranty. The accident now likely shows up in the carfax for my car. Will the accident decrease the sales price of my car if I were to sell it later? If yes, how can I get the insurance company to reimburse me for a likely future loss?

Thanks.

I have a medical collections account from 2002. Today I tried to call the collection agency to set up a pay for deletion agreement. The phone number is disconnected. I tried to google the company but had not luck. In this situation is it safe for me to try to dispute the account due to not being able to contact them? I'm working on repairing my credit and would love to be able to do this IF it is worth it and won't hurt me in the long run.

Even a scientific law is perfectly comparable to a theory yet scientists stand so firm mocking christians beliefs of creation, but the bible and its teachings have not once yet been disproven through numerous centuries of ridicule and harsh scrutiny.

I have quite an unusual situation. I dropped out of high school in my senior year, and I went directly to community college in the Fall. After two years, I applied and was admitted to the University of Washington. I'm just finishing my junior year right now. The problem is this: I don't have a high school diploma, nor do I have a GED. Should I take the GED test or not? I'm going to graduate from college in a year (possibly two). The very fact that I go to a university implies that I am capable of doing work well above high school level. But yet I'm concerned that employers might question why I dropped out, and perhaps think that I'm a quitter. On the other hand, employers might be impressed that I took the initiative to work hard, change my ways, etc., following through on my goal to go to college when others thought it was unrealistic. I'm 21 now, almost through college; what should I do? By the way -- I'm a Psych. and English major.

He was a Korean War veteran and served in the Navy for about 20 years. I figured that the US Govt. would have payed it, but apparently not. My parents have the money, but spending $2000 on the spot is hard on them. Any help would be appreciated.

By the Way- there is no "National Funeral Home" in our area, i heard they provide free funerals for veterans. That is not an option.
