How are Iranians agents fighting in Iraq freedom fighters? How is it that the people that come into Iraq and blow up civilians considered freedom fighters?

Iraq is a balkanized state. Once the former occupying power was put out of business. People started paying off scores. This is going to continue until they get tired of it themselves, or somebody applies a level of occupation that we cannot apply and still remain who we are. The US forces are seen in interfering in the god - given right of one sect to kill another, as such we are also their opponents. George Bush Senior predicted just what would happen if we took Baghdad in Gulf War I. Damn shame his boy did not listen to his dad. Wrong war - wrong place- no good way to get out.

The only Iraqi 'freedom fighters' are serving in the Iraqi army and police - in support of a government selected by the Iraqi people in UN-certified elections.
