Which "Big Brother" are you referring to? The UK version will be back on screens on May 30th, but the US version won't be back until July. They were accepting applications for contestants for this year's season until April 20, so they are still processing tapes and picking the houseguests. The handlers won't pick up the new contestants with their house keys until June, and the show airs live (the contestants are actually in the house as we watch the show on air). cbs.com has the application still posted on their website.
The show hasn't been highly publicized this year because the ratings last season were so low. Executive Producer Arnold Shapiro was let go, and Allison Grodner stepped up to fill his shoes on this year's eighth season. There will probably be a lot of changes made-- possibly even limit the number of episodes that air per week (it used to be three). If this season doesn't do well, it won't be back.

They have had some discussions if your talking about Big Brother US 8. The show is scheduled to start on July 5th. They are conducting interviews through June. We should start getting some leaks Mid to end of June. We will post information on our webpage as we get it. http://www.bigbrotherlounge.com

It's got worse year after year. Crap people, rubbish tasks. If the people who are on the show are classed as 'normal' then I know a house full that should be released.

It's great. they left the ads late as well, I don't think they had much choice in auditionees. serves them right for making such a sh*t show last year. Oh but I will still be watching it of course.
