I'd like to show/tell him how proud of him I am. He's been thru some very rough times (divorce, moving a lot, death of loved ones, mental and physical abuse, not from me of course!!) and I want to tell him how well he's turned out after all he went thru!!! He's the 1st one in family to go to college!

How do you know when your wasting your time? I have dated the same guy for about 6 yrs. He asked me to marry him about 9 mo after we started dating, then changed his mind. We have been in this relationship for so long, I wonder when it will end. I used to look foreward to our togetherness, but now I see it as a way for him to get sex. We are not youngsters. He is in his late 50's, and I am in my 40's and we both are home owners. I just hate this running back and forth and no ring, no marriage proposal, no future and I am not getting younger. I just want to know what your opinion is.

After accidentaly finding out about my bf's bisexuality i learned his now decessed wife was also shocked by it. so i guess he was fooling around with men for the first 10 years of their relationship. she did get mad but later joined in the lifestyle. what are the chances that he is not particpating in this type of sexual behavior, especially given the several men he has donethis with with are friends of his for 30 years now and they still see each other frequently. he tells me he does not partake in this activity anymore, but i can not understand how someone who was so into it can just shut it off. advice?

I am suffering from what i think is anorexia. i stopped eating,even when im hungry. i'll feel so bad if i eat anything and ill cry. i think im fat and ugly. im 5'5'' and 104 pounds. i havent eaten in 3 days and i feel really dizzy. i just CANT eat. im starving but i refuse to eat. whats wrong with me? my mom won't take me to the doctor,she says ''im fine,i dont need help.your a little girl it's impossible for you to be anorexic'' P.S. im 15

First off, I do not judge strippers for what they are doing. I am just curious as to why some women would actually want to strip in front of a bunch of creepy strangers? Are decent paying jobs so scarce that women have to do this to pay the rent? Do they do this because they need an ego boost? Why do women strip?

I have been told by followers of Islam, that they believe the Holy Bible has been changed? I would like to know the evidence that supports this theory. Also how can Islam call for their followers to "believe in the Holy books" yet insist that the Bible is not true. The statement that the Bible has been changed seems to go against Islam supposed belief in the Books. And how does Islam argue against the Dead Sea scrolls that were found in the 1950's in which original manuscripts of the Bible were found which confirmed the accuracy of the bible. Also the fact that there are still 5000 manuscripts of the Bible today, more than any English novel taught in school today in which for some there are only 1 or 2 manuscripts.

Or any other diety for that matter? Why must you all put these restrictions on beliefs? Can't I believe whatever I want to?? No I don't believe in either but in my last question everyone gave me a hard time for saying I wanted to go to heaven even though I don't believe in god. How is it anyone's right to say what I believe is wrong? Do you have facts to support your claim that I'm wrong? And don't quote scripture- I know the scripture- I want proof- like yo mama came back from the dead and said "hey baby, you need to believe in god to get in this place"

Have any of you been treated badly in the ER? I just was and I need to vent. i haven't felt the baby move since Friday night and I took alot of cold medicine, so i was getting a little worried. i had a doctors appointment on Monday and they heard the heart, but still, the baby hadn't moved for almost a week now. So i call the OBGYN office to talk to them about it and they said i could come in for a fetal heartrate check. I get there, the nurse is checking and checking and she can't find a heartrate. FINALLY she finds it way over on the left side. She leaves to get the doc, cuz by law, he has to see me since it's the ER. He comes in and proceeds to chew my a** for coming in to the ER!!!!!! Telling me that that's why there is such a problem with the health care system and insurance industry and that the emergency room is not to be used for emotional reasons. He chews my a** until I am CRYING. What would you all have done? I cried, hung my head, and left

I am trying to get Windows NT 4.0 to automatically restart at a scheduled time. I have been able to use program scheduler to get shutdown.exe to run in windows XP, but NT does not use shutdown.exe to shutdown. I am looking for something FREE. No demos!

How else do you think we come across the quotes?

If Jesus says in a parable that represents himself as a king that orders his servants to kill those who would not have him as their ruler, is this or is this not Jesus saying to his followers "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay [them] before me."

There are much better ways to say that those who don't follow will be lost, damned, sent to hell, whatever. He could have said that "those who did not follow his directions were cast out of his kingdom" or "those that did not submit were left at the gates of the kingdom with no hope of entry." Instead, Jesus says BRING THE NON-BELIEVERS BEFORE ME AND KILL THEM!

How is this view "taking the parable out of context"? I say, taking it any other way is taking it out of context. But I'd love to hear your opinions again.
