depends how strong the love is and whether you two have experienced enough of life without each another. As long as you are not too possessive to make the other feel as if he/she is missing out becoz they spent their whole teenage and adult life with you! You must be secure wnough to know things won't get boring. But you shouldn't be asking, if you luurv him enough, you should just know whether you should be marrying him :)

It depends on the sweetheart. I married mine and it's worked out great, we'll be married 5 years tomorrow. But if he's a jerk that you aren't happy with, ditch him. No amount of history is worth being treated badly.

I guess but some people marry there high school sweetheart just to say "yeah well i married my high school sweetheart"
