I am trying to get Windows NT 4.0 to automatically restart at a scheduled time. I have been able to use program scheduler to get shutdown.exe to run in windows XP, but NT does not use shutdown.exe to shutdown. I am looking for something FREE. No demos!

Use PSShutdown from sysinternals.

Here are two options for you. I have not tried them as I do not want to mess with BIOS - but if you have the confidence - be my guest.
******************

Turn on your computer for a convenient time automatically
Go to your Computer Setup (press Del when your PC is loading).
Go to “Power Management Setup” and enable “ PWron/Resume by alarm” and set date alarm and time alarm and then press F10 to save your change and turn off your pc.
On specified date and time, your pc will turn on

In BIOS you should have option "wake by alarm" or similar you just enter time when you want to turn on computer.
