I just received a call that from my niece's School Principal in Anaheim that she was denied a Inter-District Transfer due to her not making it up to par at that school and needs to start her HOME school in Buena Park tomorrow.
I'm accountable for her being under my roof and she is devestated to be moving from her friends (who are not a good crowd), so Im thankful for that but I was pretty pissed off and gave a "reality"speech. I told her how she doesn't need to justify her "rough life" and throw it away and to move forward. I see her lowering her standards to be accepted by her gansta "friends"and I don't want her associated with that negativity. She is such a smart, beautiful and very capable young lady to getting a higher GPA. She has shown effort since she's been in my care she had a 1.5 gpa and bumped it up this qtr to a 2.0 but its not enough for this school. Im pissed still but my heart is torn too.What would be the appropriate discipline in this matter and issue? Any one...

I have strep throat again, and just about 2 weeks ago, I had this and went to see a doctor who prescribed me omnicef. I took all the pills, and now I have this horrible infection again. I did everthing they said new tooth brush, sprayed lysol all over. Can someone please tell me how to cure this without seeing a doctor. I heard gargling with peroxide, and i'm gargling with chloroseptic too. Please anyone know any other home remedys or things to do to prevent this. This is only the second time in my life that i have ever had this and the pain is horrible. Will appreciate all suggestions!!!!

i recently filed my 2002 federal income taxes for which i was owed $1036. i just received a letter stating that my claim was denied because it was past 3 years from when they were supposed to be submitted. this doesnt make sense to me that a debt owed to me can be erased over time. if i owed them money that hadnt been collected within the 3 years i am positive that my debt would not have been erased. in the letter it stated that i can dispute this denial of the money i am owed stating any laws or reasons that show i am still owed this money. besides the fact that i should have filed them on time, does anyone have any advice on how i can get this debt i am owed????
