the water does not come out of the shower head efficiently because of nasty build up. Does anyone recommend a certain product to unclog it?

CLR is the best. You have two techniques to use this. You can partially fill a baggie with CLR and dip your shower head into the bag. Tape the bag to the pipe and let the shower head rest in the solution.

Or,

You can remove the shower head from the pipe on the wall and soak it in the CLR solution. Reinstall the shower head and you are good to go.

Vinegar is a more eco friendly fix, but it doesn't do as good a job.

CLR should clean it nicely. Unscrew it from the pipe by turning it counterclockwise, put it in a small glass or ceramic bowl, and pour in enough CLR to just cover it. If the CLR seems thick, you can mix it with water 50-50. Let it sit for at least a few hours or overnight. Rinse well with clear water, but save the CLR yet. Try the shower head and see how it works. If it's still now flowing well, try soaking it for another day. Otherwise, use the CLR to clean rust stains in sinks, showers, etc, then dump the rest down the sink or toilet.

I get that pretty often, water stuck in my ear. So all I do most of the time, is jump on the leg, on the side that your ear feels clogged. At the same time, lean your head towards that side. Otherwise, it may be an ear infection. I've had a glue ear infection at one stage, which feels like water is clogged in your ear. But that usually happens after a cold, and its when your middle ear is filled with a glue-like fluid i.e. mucus. It also makes it seem like your hearing has decreased especially in that year. I doubt you have it, but if the problem persists, I'd suggest you visit a doctor. And definitely, DON'T fiddle with your ear anymore as it is :)

White vinegar... and if it is stubborn heat the vinegar then soak the shower head in it til vinegar cools and then use an old tooth brush to scrub off any stubborn scale.

White pickling vinegar will clean it up nicely. Best to remove it from the pipe and soak it in a pan.

I would suggest that you soak it in Vinegar overnight. It's the cheapest option and very effective.
