What are some of the common suffixes used in Russian names. Are the suffixes -wski, -wicz Russian or something else.

-wski and -wicz are more Polish.
Most Russian last names end either in ov(ova) or in(ina).
-ak, -uk and -ko are Ukrainian.

The suffixes -wski, -wicz sound more Polish to me.

yes, there are suffixes like -vski(-vskaia if it's a woman); -vich. and also -ov (-ova for a woman), -in (-ina for a woman) and -ak, -ik, -ook. there are many others, they are very diverse but these are most common
