alright, let me start my gf who i love more then anything in this whole world wasn't getting back on my calls. i been calling her the past 5 days i guess, she hasn't responded until now and she said her best friend was killed, in a car crash. i don't know what to do, i told her i would be there for her during these hard times, but what can i do? i feel like a big loser, i can't do anything to cheer her up. she's sad, and all i can do is support her. i wish i could do more, my question is, what else can i do? please give me serious advice.

This tax year(2006), I lost the claiming of 2 dependents on my tax filing to my ex-wife because I had outstanding child care payments due(the final order makes this stipulation). The childcare center has an amazingly "hokey" billing system, and it turns out I wasnt made aware of an outstanding balance till mid-February...too late to rectify to keep my 2 dependents on my taxes for 2006. The billing practices of this childcare center are archaic and can not be understood by the parent(me). This billing SNAFU cost me the loss of the EIC credit and I now owe IRS +$4400 because of this misunderstanding of the childcare centers billing procedures/unclear-hidden outstanding balance. Do I have a case for billing malfeance?

I'm writing a story where there's a character that always uses really pathetic pick up lines, such as, "Hey baby, you got a mirror in your pocket? Cuz I can see myself in your pants!" I've gotten a lot of dumb pick up lines used on me, but nothing that's really got a good creative edge. Any ideas?

Do Christians believe JESUS is the GOD of the Old Testament?

The Trinity contends that all three parts of God are one without any separation between them otherwise it would be proven to be polytheism.

Therefore, according to Christianity the God of the Old Testament is Jesus.

If you say yes, then you cannot ever deny that he sent the commandments written in the Old Testament.

Someone can say they don’t follow them anymore…ok…. But if they ever deny that he made these commands then JESUS was not the GOD of the Old Testament.

Here is one command JESUS sent down:


"If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, 21: but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property.” ---- Exodus 21:20-21


If a Christian denies it was ever sent down by Jesus then either Jesus is not their God or they don’t believe that the Bible is the word of God.

Whether these are still enforced or whether these were sent millenniums ago…… are not the question.

The eye opener is that Christians cannot deny that according to their faith Jesus sent this command down.

Maybe enslaved men can handle a beating but fragile women would be in pain beyond imagination.

I have a beautiful 3 year old grandson (my only grandchild). My Daughter thinks I am being over protected when it comes to my grandson's safety, He loves the water but can't swim. I got him a life jacket. He would wonder outside and my Daughter never knew he went outside..So I installed door alarms, I covered all the wall sockets when he tried to put a pen in the socket. I make sure the smoke alarms have good batteries.only to find out my Daughter would remove them because thay went off while she was cooking and forgets everytime to replace the batterie back into the alarm.
All I want to do is keep them safe. I buy all the things to keep my grandson safe while he's at home. But my daughter now thinks I'm being over protected and should back off,,,,I'm affraid if I don't do something..my grandson could be hurt very badly, Am I really to over protecting my grandchild?

I've liked a couple different guys over the years. They are either out of my league, or are in a relationship.

Whenever I find out, I always (to myself, never to their face or to anyone else) think to myself, something along the lines of "Well, why would I want you anyway? You have a weird looking (insert body part here)"

I think the reason I do it is so that I can pick out their flaws, making myself feel less like a loser for not being the person of their longing.

Does that make sense? Or am I just really messed up?

I've been separated from the common law hubby for a month now. We have 2 kids together. We planned out our 2nd child and he started to cheat a few months into my pregnancy, and I didn't find out until my last trimester, had my baby, and he continued to see her so I finally kicked him out. Now he tells me how he misses the kids but doesn't want a relationship with me because he now says he doesn't have feelings for me, but he doesn't know what he wants. So his solution was we live as roomates in separate rooms, I told him no, because I feel it's so wrong on many levels. I'm slowly moving on with my life, and well have handled being a single mom as best as I can considering I have a newborn and a toddler under the age of 2. Should I just keep moving forward? He still sees the kids and I don't stand in btw their relationship. However, this situation seems to just be lingering, if he wants it final then we need to close down bank accounts, split the belongings etc. What to do??
