Does anyone on here know how old you have to be to be a big brother/big sister. I have to do 25 hours of community service for school, and I really want to do this, but I couldn't find that info on their web page. Can anyone help me??? Thanks so much!!!

Well you probably know this, but here is their site for Big Sister information:
http://www.bbbs.org/site/c.diJKKYPLJvH/b.2286705/k.89B2/Be_a_Big_Sister.htm

Now, QUOTED FROM WEBSITE: How to apply: The easiest and fastest way to get started is to complete our convenient online application. After you complete a short form online, a Big Brothers Big Sisters staff member will contact you to start the application process. You'll need to:
Provide two references
Participate in an in-person interview
Go through a background check

They also recommend calling your local agency to get more information. Go to their website, type in your zip code and you will be matched with the nearest agency. Call them and ask about their specific requirements. My guess is that you would have to be at least 18, but that is just a GUESS. You should contact the local branch and ask them.

I think it's just great that you have a volunteering spirit, please keep it up and good luck!
