I am going to go with Oscar Pereiro… My original choice would have been Andreas Kloden however I think this being his first year on Astana and Alexandre Vinokourov on the same team; I think they might be in disarray as to who the leader will be.
I also do not think that any one that was implicated in doping allegations will be allowed to ride in this year’s tour

I'm already on record predicting Jens Voight will win the 2007 Tour de France.
Basso and many of the other favorites won't be allowed to start due to their doping problems.

Lance was great, but all things pass. If Basso is up to it, he has the best team with Disco. Vinokourov is always very aggressive, but I don't know if Astana can pull him and I can't see Vino holding a hard pace Merckx-style for the entire Tour.
CSC is always formidable with Julich, Vandevelde and Voight, but without Lance it's always up for grabs.

That is a good question.....a very good question. I don't really know. Sad to say that I think Floydd Landis may not be doing it because I don't know if his doping accusation has been resolved one way or the other.
