I always seem to be nervous at the beginning of my races, be it a 5k or an 800m. This is my first year of track, i currently run the 800m. Yesterday I set my personal record of 2:19. Coming down 7 seconds from my old pr of 2:26. Now reflecting on it I think I could have done better if I wasn't so nervous. Any suggestions on how to deal with this nervousness?

One of the areas in my Christian life where I fail is in prayer. For me it has become the nightly, before bed, real quick ritual. I am trying to devote more serious time in prayer with God. I mean seriously if God is supposed to be our Father, Savior, best friend we should talk to him more than 2 minutes a night right? What are some of your prayer lifes like?

seems to me the teacher also encouraged picking on him by threatening him in front of the class with an F for not participating. why would an adult teacher do that to a shy little kid? this incident happened in grade school.

And no i am not defending Chos actions in killing people.

I just want to know where they get these teachers. If a teacher did this to my kid I would have him FIRED.

Hi! I want to risk my future by going to film school in the US on the hope I'll get US citizenship, the film industry in my country is almost non-existant, I'm hoping if I do get American citizenship I can get jobs in Television, Documentaries or even films. But if I dont get citizenship I'll have ruined my life, no real careers in film in my country, so what does it take to get US citizenship? Is it too hard, almost impossible? I am not concidering marrying an American for the sake of a citizenship as an option, I have no relatives in the US, and if its about applying for a job and having my employer sponsor my greencard isn't there another option, like a solo option where I dont have to depend on a secondary party for getting citizenship? Please let me know if you have an idea

There were some unpaid medical bills that were sent to collections on my credit report. After about two weeks I finally got them to realize those charges were for someone I did not even know. They said they would contact the collection company to have it removed from my credit report. I am looking at buying a new car and those two collections dragged down my credit score. How long will this take to be removed?

I try to acknowledge and be appreciative when I receive superior service in stores like WalMart, BestBuy, etc.

I've done the obvious:
* said thanks to the person (pgo)
* mentioned their name to their manager
* if in a rush, made a note to myself to call later before I forget
* gone to store website to use "contact us" (time consuming ... but perhaps there is a better way)

Other suggestions: I'm looking for the best r.o.i. .... easier and less time consuming so I will be inclined to do this more rather than less.
